The sky darkened across half its expanse, and the black robes of the enigmatic figure, the Inspector, fluttered ominously. His entire body was shrouded in darkness; even Roger's vision couldn't pierce the shadows under the Inspector's hood to uncover his true face.
From him, Roger sensed an aura akin to shadow energy, but it was purer, more sinister.
The hem of his robes seemed to exist somewhere between reality and illusion, merging him seamlessly with the oppressive darkness behind him.
Although he stood alone, he exuded a presence akin to contending against half the sky.
Powerful and malevolent.
This was Roger's most immediate perception of the Inspector.
"Let's go!"
Jora shouted sharply, "This guy is far stranger than before. The last time we confronted him, he wasn't this strong!"
