Feelings are truly strange things.
Although not real, in the physical sense, often times, they possess the capacity to manifest as physical reactions.
For example, the feeling of being stalked in the dark by a malevolent creature of the abyss was akin to having the back of his ears locked by a slippery, wet tongue.
As provocative as that sounded, it also left one feeling unnerved and uneasy.
"Hm? A human male~?"
A voice cut through the dark silence.
Richard raised his brows,
'It can talk?'
He considered his words for a moment, then smiled,
"Little Miss Snake. I have come to pay you a visit. Why not offer me some tea?"
"Interesting. Such a confident human~" The Gorgon said, drawing the end of its sentence out into a long hiss.
Being unable to see, Richard had no idea where the snake currently was.
And since the cage was rather large, he assumed there was more than enough space for it to maneuver as it pleased.
Still, he had not come to this fight empty handed.
