Mrs. and Mr. Thunder were sitting on the balcony chairs, both looking at Valery who was staring at them. Valery, sitting on the balcony brandad, looked much taller and at the same time superior to them.
That superiority was something simple, perhaps not a clear message to many, but Valery did it instinctively.
