January 01 - February 28
We were busy with our solo works and the group's upcoming online concert. It was named "The Symphonia". We have scheduled the concert for the 28th of February. Our full album was released in January last week. After a long discussion, our group decided to go on a hiatus and focus on our studies and solo work for 3 years. So the live concert was supposed to be our last concert, but since last year's Coachella was canceled, we were again invited this year. So we concluded that even though we are going on a hiatus, we will attend specific shows and interviews.
In the second week of February, I went to Taehyung's place to pick up Taeha. I was so unlucky that when I was at his place, his manager called and said he tested positive for COVID-19. I had to stay at Taehyung's place for a week and another week at my apartment, fearing that I would have the virus on my body and infect others, although I tested negative.
The situation of me accompanying Taehyung when a lot of people avoided him at the time made our bond stronger, and Taehyung chatted with me occasionally on the phone.
On the day, we did an online concert event that left all fandoms in awe. The concert not only marked the release of our latest full album but also symbolized a new chapter in our career. With stunning visuals, interactive features, and emotional performances, "The Symphonia" became an unforgettable experience for fans worldwide.
The theme of "The Symphonia" was a brilliant fusion of classical and contemporary elements, mirroring the rich, orchestral layers of our new album. The concert featured symphonic arrangements blended with modern electronic beats, creating a striking contrast that kept the audience engaged from start to finish, together with the live band music. The title itself, "The Symphonia", represented the harmony of our artistic evolution—a balance between our past struggles and the present triumph of our return to the spotlight.
The visual aspects of the concert were nothing short of breathtaking. Virtual reality (VR) technology transported viewers into a world of lush, immersive landscapes. Each song was paired with its own thematic stage design, from grand symphony halls with floating musical notes to futuristic cities illuminated by neon lights. These visuals were further enhanced by augmented reality (AR) features that added a dynamic layer to the performance, creating an all-encompassing experience.
Having faced personal and professional hurdles, my return to the stage carried a sense of renewal. For my solo performances, I did an energetic performance of Partition by Beyoncé.
Our team ensured that "The Symphonia" wasn't just a concert but a fully interactive event. Fans were an integral part of the experience, starting with the live chat feature that allowed them to engage with each other and share their reactions in real time. This feature also enabled moments of interaction between us and our fans, as we occasionally responded to fan comments during the show, making the event feel even more personal.
One of the most popular segments was "Eerie's Time," where the audience had the opportunity to vote on which tracks they wanted to hear. This interactive element gave fans a sense of participation and ownership over the concert's direction. Fans felt connected not only to us but also to each other, as they united in selecting their favorite songs. Not only that, they surprised us with a fan-made song. It was classic, and the lyrics were about their unconditional love and support.
Virtual shout-outs and fan-submitted content were additional highlights. Fans had the chance to send in their messages, artwork, and videos, which were displayed during certain portions of the concert. We acknowledged and celebrated her fans' creativity, further solidifying the bond we have with our audience. These personal touches added a layer of warmth and authenticity to an otherwise high-tech performance.
All our solo performances were undoubtedly one of the standout moments of the night. Stripping down to another grandeur, I took center stage. The middle verse was removed, and I changed the lyrics and some parts, like the bridge, to French. I changed it to give a hidden provocation to the one who caused my accident.
I wore a rhinestone blazer dress with a puffed rose petal-like skirt over a bold, all-red ensemble. It is glamorous with a glittering one-sleeve and one-strap bodysuit adorned with sequins and fringe, making it perfect for a show-stopping performance. It includes matching accessories: red opera gloves with fur cuffs, shiny patent leather knee-high boots, and. The matching ruby microphone of mine completes the look for the first part: Yonce.
I took off the blazer dress, only leaving the bodysuit for the second part: Partition. The choreography was carefully made and a little bit of sensual. In the second part, I removed the second verse, Pre-chorus, and Chorus. After 10 seconds of silent time ending fairy time and with music again, I walked to the front camera with the catwalk and turned back to go back on the same catwalk while singing, circling, and caressing my loose hair, giving my best performance to the camera and the fans. I was very satisfied with the performance.
The sweetness in this moment contrasted beautifully with the otherwise grandiose nature of the concert, reminding everyone of the personal journey that had led to this moment.
The combination of our powerful vocals, rap, and energetic dance, and the stunning visual effects made these performances unforgettable.
One of the key innovations of "The Symphonia" was the integration of virtual reality (VR) technology, which allowed fans to experience the concert in an immersive, 360-degree environment. Fans with VR headsets could transport themselves directly into the concert, experiencing the music and visuals in an entirely new way. This technological advancement was groundbreaking, making "The Symphonia" not just a concert but a pioneering moment in online performances.
The stage designs were another artistic triumph. With the use of holograms, intricate lighting, and AR, each song felt like a journey into a different world. These designs elevated the concert into a visually stunning spectacle that kept fans engaged throughout the performance.
The promotional activities leading up to "The Symphonia" were equally impressive. Our team executed a well-coordinated campaign, teasing the concert with cryptic social media posts, behind-the-scenes content, and short trailers that built anticipation. There were also countdown events, interactive social media challenges, and giveaways that kept fans excited in the days leading up to the concert.
Following the event, "The Symphonia" was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback from both fans and the media. But some controversy about my outfit during the performance since I was still a minor. I, too, have never worn something so short and revealing, but it was my way of getting back on. But still, many fans accepted it and called it the revenge show; fans praised the high production value, the interactive elements, and, of course, my performance. Social media buzzed with fan art, concert highlights, and messages of love and appreciation for us. Critics hailed the concert as a significant achievement in the future of online performances, noting the innovative use of VR and AR as standout features.
"The Symphonia" not only met expectations but exceeded them, leaving fans eagerly awaiting our next move.
