There was silence for another ten minutes; everyone just walked behind the other.
Anna was distressed and continued to look behind her and to the sides. Despite knowing that these Sirens could be invisible to their eyes, she hoped upon her vigilance to keep her safe.
Everyone didn't have to make it to the north; just herself and a few others were enough for her to complete this quest.
"Are you okay, lord Collin?" A guard asked his master, who appeared unstable on his feet.
Instead of getting a response, Collin staggered and almost fell to the ground, but the guard broke his fall.
"You are very cold," said the guard. And because this incident drew a lot of attention, Kael got to them immediately.
"What is wrong?" He asked, but Collin was unable to speak. Right before their eyes, his body started to dry up like a wet cloth under the scorching sun. His eyes grew darker and darker until everyone freaked out.
