Connor
"Baby," Edward came into the room with a frown. His hair was a mess from probably running his fingers through it so much and he still had a deep frown set on his face. "I'm so sorry about everything."
I looked at him with a blank stare as I sat with my suitcase next to me. My arms folded over my chest and my eyebrows permanently furrowed. Seeing him made me both upset but also understanding because I could see the stress in his face.
"I was thinking I should go home," I looked down to my lap, "I don't want to cause trouble."
"No Connor," he came to me then knelt down in front of me, "you didn't do anything wrong. It's my fault for thinking Vasilisa would be understanding. Igor left and she left with him. He asked me to apologize to you again. He's difficult but I promise you he's a nice guy. He just doesn't have a filter."
