When I woke up I felt like a mess as I stretched in my bed and patted around hoping to find Edward next to me. That was until I remembered we were at a hotel and he had pretty much disappeared before I could even say Goodnight.
I thought I wouldn't get any sleep last night after what Edward had said to me. I thought I would be up the entire night getting a heart attack about how his face fell when I said no. Then I laid down and blacked out from the exhaustion of the game.
If I had to be honest it was the best sleep I had gotten in a very long time. Playing a game then getting drunk was the magic potion I needed. With a groan I sat up then groggily made it to the shower.
I knew we had breakfast soon therefore I got ready and dressed in a tracksuit before I started packing up for our flight this afternoon. With another final stretch, I grabbed my phone and keycard. Melanie had called me when I was at the restaurant to tell me she had arrived safely.
