It has been a long time since Dragon Ball SP started. All by only being as one saga, the saga of the Soul Paradox. But it grew to have another one, being now multiple arcs. Starting with the original plan, and now advancing with multiple new arcs that will progress with the original idea.
And now you will ask... "But what is this idea?"
The answer is simple. Power Level being out of this.
Let me explain:
Dragon Ball was always peaking Power levels to the extreme, where after Dragon Ball Z, more specifically speaking, the Saiyan saga. All power levels skyrocketed, and from Names, it vanished forever.
My original idea was to remove this, make all independent, and be dependant of their skills and experience and knowledge. As even if someone is stronger, not always the strength is enough to win.
The perfect example is the MC himself. Is basically capable of soloing everything, but yet, loses against Krillin. And that's the perfect example, because he loses by the clear lack of experience in fighting, the lack of knowledge of how to properly fight, or even fight at all without using his magic.
The MC is the best example of this idea, as by his lacks, weaker characters have the upper hand and can easily win.
Is not based on strength, power level, transformations...
No no no. Is based on capabilities, techniques, strategies, ideologies, potential, and what each is truly capable of reaching to do.
The next Saga is confirmed, Cataclysm. And that saga will begin having arcs, and will be worked similar to how Dragon Ball as serie was originally.
