Chapter 112 - A Library Always Has Answers...

"Norway José! You ain't going to Folicia now! We still need to finalise how the damn assembly line will work! Not to mention that we need to discuss how to dumb down the assembly line so that Heaven does not find out that we're advancing cooking through technology..."

Seeing how desperate Titus was when destroying the model, the gravity of their endeavours finally dawned upon the Elf. "Shit... To come up with the money necessary to build our rocket, we need the Jaffa cakes to be produced en masse, and the only way to do this is by making sure that the cakes are not made in batches but in a continuous manner. Lewis, Simon, time to start dumbing..."

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

"Despite dumbing down as much as possible, despite all that...we still get flagged by Heaven!?

We've converted the solar furnace into one that requires fire Spirits to operate, changed the timing gears into a magic crystal clock, and replaced much of the machinery with human labour, and yet we're still being targeted as heretics!?

What Baulshit is this!?"

Enraged at the realisation that nothing he did seemed to dismantle Heaven's burgeoning gaze upon them, he smashed his hand onto the wooden table that held a key position in the room. "Umm, we could, you know, just use–"

Pinching his eyes, Duncan gazed back at the Dwarf. "Do you know how much is required for building everything to go to the Moon? 100 billion copper coins, or 10 million gold coins! Even I don't have that much money, and Silvertree Corporation is the fifth-largest Merchant Guild in the entire world! What are we supposed to do!?"

Smashing his head, Duncan was very nearly tempted to kill himself at this very instant. This is too fucking ridiculous...

Justas they were about to give up, the bronze casket began to glow. Shocked, they all saw that their bodies also began glowing:

Lewis's hands saw archaic letters surfacing on the surface of his hands...

Simon's hammer popping out, floating in the air, glowing brighter bronze...

Titus's body shone bright gold...

To their shock, they saw Duncan's Skill, the Library of Alexandria, ripping itself into reality. The counter began whizzing and cracking, before a bronze tablet popped out, sparking bronze lightning.

"I-is that... a Dataslate!?"

Unable to believe his eyes, Titus could not grasp that the Library of Alexandria gave out a Dataslate. This is fucking impossible! The only ones who had the capability to even produce them was the Bureau, and even by then, they were outdated. Who is the Broken One!?

Crowding around the Dataslate, Simon gently prodded it with his hammer. "Hey...so how do we use it? Smash it into our heads? Throw it into a well and pray for the best? Or do we smash it and see what's inside, 'cause if so, my hammer's raring to go!"

Lifting his hammer, Simon struck down into the Dataslate. Just before it smashed into it, a large green hand grabbed it, freezing it into place. "Lemme do it, you gung-ho Dwarf!"

Yanking the Dataslate from Simon's hands, he began tapping on its surface. Then they saw something that shocked them out of their lives:

A large golden, holographic screen emerged into the air, where what seemed to be the drawings of a device could be seen–
