Leonard disappeared without a trace. His number stopped ringing by the third day. He was handling something that didn't need King interference, all he did was tell King that he was "Handling something private," but his voice thins when Skye asks twice.
The house stayed quiet, way too quiet. Skye tried not to let it bother her, but it did, it always did when he disappeared and she had nothing to give back to the FCC.
The staff didn't make her feel his absence but the fact that king was around bothered her, she wondered if King was here to spy on her. She watched King every morning, watched the way he glanced at the hallway before answering questions. Like he's waiting for someone to call him out or tell him where Leonard really is.
Skye loved that King was restless, she loved how anxious he was and most of all she was fine. According to the FCC, he was just lying low and she loved that she could just enjoy being pregnant and being Leonard's wife.
