The story begins
The T3 was in a room full of metal boxes and reinforced doors to the front, right, and left. He also saw trunks, which he opened, went to them, and got two sonic grenades as basic components. He walked around the room and saw a destroyed droid, so he decided to examine what he could find, and it was just repair kits. He tried to open the gate on his left, but it was closed. Then he opened the one in front of him, and it opened.
The utility droid was able to see an ascending ramp with a balcony attached to large windows in front with consoles and instruments and control screens for the ship, as well as a hatch on each side to the right and left. He climbed up and saw trunks, which he hacked into and took repair kits from. Through the large windows, the hangar dazzled him, where he saw the ship he had provisionally repaired called the Ebony Falcon, and behind it the emptiness of space separated only by a permeable shield of breathable atmosphere. He then accessed the console to see what he could do.
Accessing the console, its screen displayed
Peragus Hangar Control
System diagnostics.
Damaged system
The little droid concluded that several parts had been removed from this console, rendering it deficient and incomplete, but despite this, the little one saw the possibility of partially restoring the computer to its basic functionality. However, he did not have the parts, so he went to explore the area to find what he needed.
So he left the room and went to the hatch on his right, hacking it and succeeding. He saw a room with two hostile droids, so he proceeded to take them down with his discharge weapon, destroying their circuits. He proceeded to steal what was left of their bodies, finding a sonic detonator and repair kit, then saw a medium-sized descending corridor at the end. From there, she saw a small room where she saw another hostile droid, which she also took down as she descended, but then she noticed another one and did the same thing she did with the first one. She saw a container, which she opened and recognized a combat retina implant, as well as a repair kit.
He saw that there was another descending corridor and took it, where he saw another room with another hatch, which he opened and saw behind it an elevator that said it went to the Peragus fuel depot. T3 got on the elevator, which went where it said it would, where he saw a large hall. He saw the remains of droids, which he examined and found useful components, as well as a large conductor where there was a hatch, which he opened. When he opened it, he saw a small interior bridge that led to another hatch, which he opened. He could see that it was an exit from the duct, and he could see another one, but without a hatch.
There he saw a few human bodies and two hostile droids, which he shot down again. He collected the remains, where he found useful items such as the parts he needed for the terminal, an ionic blaster for droids, and a neural pacifier for droids.
He checked the human body and found an ionic striker for droids, a lethal sonic mine, and a data module: deposit prospecting.
He connected the module to his visual interface and was able to read what it said.
Fuel lines purged and found sonic charges "inside." I checked the work logs and there have only been droids in the area. I've been trying to contact security since I found the explosives, but I can't get through.
I removed the remote detonators and will keep the explosives until I can store them safely in the hangar.
The little automaton finished reading and reflected on what exactly had happened in this place, but he didn't think about it too much and went back the way he came. The little one equipped himself with his new weapons. When he returned to the elevator, he saw the ascending corridors and went up them, where he found more hostile droids descending. He then returned to the cargo room and then back to the terminal, thanks to the useful parts he had collected during his little adventure, which he did by soldering parts to complete the circuits with missing links.
When he did this, the screen displayed:
Peragus Hangar Control
System diagnostics in progress
And then the screen displayed:
Functionality will be restored.
He was able to access different options on the screen, which were:
Access emergency control commands. Access hangar records. Access remote camera controls. Access communications system. Access hangar layout.
T3 accessed the fifth option and had to use a computer tip he didn't have
and returned to the console's main functions.
He went to access emergency control commands.
The options were
Run diagnostics on damaged systems.
It showed:
Damaged emergency subsystems.
Inoperative
Then he saw that the options were.
1._ Run diagnostics on damaged systems
2._ Check status of emergency subsystems
Choose the first option
Running diagnostics
All emergency subsystems redirected
Successfully, he did so, but he saw that access to the Peragus emergency subsystems had been redirected to the fuel depot terminal, and the connection circuits had been burned with a mining laser to prevent remote access, and he saw that the damage could not be repaired. To do so, he would have to find the fuel depot terminal to activate the Peragus emergency systems.
Seeing this, T3 had to go to the fuel depot in person to activate the emergency systems.
And the screen returned to where the second option was displayed: check the status of the emergency subsystems.
He could see on the screen that it said:
Emergency shutdown procedure activated.
Hangar sealed.
Fuel depot sealed.
And there were two options:
Open the hangar's armored door.
Open the armored door to the fuel depot.
But for that, they needed computer tips that he didn't have.
He returned to other options and accessed the hangar records to see if they provided information on where he could get what he needed and where several options were displayed.
Access tracking and takeoff procedures
Access record 253-12: contraband access record
Access record 253-14: maintenance violation
Access log 253-17: navigation computer lockout
The youngster accessed the log of tracking and takeoff procedures.
The screen displayed the following
All transports entering or leaving need orbital drift charts transmitted from Peragus to avoid the asteroid field surrounding the mining colony. Without them, any ship entering or leaving Peragus risks being destroyed by the asteroids.
It was displayed in the options.
Transmit orbital drift charts to the navigation computer of the Ebony Falcon, and T3 pressed that option.
Download error
Access denied
Ebony Falcon navigation computer locked
The droid saw that it cannot download the charts to the ship because they have encrypted the navigation computer. You will need a way to measure them on that ship when it is ready to take off. The celestial robot wanted to download the charts to its system, but the computer warned that they would be obsolete as the asteroids moved slowly but continuously, rendering them useless.
He went to other log options
He accessed log 253-12: contraband, and a holographic recording of a fair-skinned man with short, light brown hair and an elegant uniform was played.
Record 253-12 from docking customs officer Corr Hamne of the Peragus II mining station 5 years after the destruction of the Star Forge, stardate 21102 DFR, month 02, day 12, at 08:30 AM, location Peragus II in the Peragus system, much of the cargo from the transport recognized as the Ebony Falcon is being stored in the security hold until we can perform quarantine checks. Many say it is Revan's ship, with which he destroyed the Star Forge alongside his comrades but then disappeared. The officer reported, thinking of the ship that arrived at the station badly damaged.
As requested, all the programming tips that the security officers would want to confiscate are here to avoid further problems with the system and sabotage. The security hold should suffice. If anyone wants to get in, they'll have to open it with explosives. He informed the young man, explaining where he had left the ship's contents as the recording ended.
The little automaton now knew where to go to get the tips he needed, but he continued to look at the records to see what was happening.
He accessed record 253-14: maintenance violation.
[Interference at the beginning of the recording] Someone or something destroyed the transports that were leaving this system, and they also destroyed the communications antennas. Who ordered the mining droids to repair the Falcon? I arrived at the end of my shift and saw three of them repairing the port stabilizers. Did I miss something? Is someone planning a little trip? Because since the Jedi arrived, after testing, we learned that her name was Meetra Surik, but as I said, the orders were that the hangar was closed. I don't know what maintenance is supposed to mean, but you can't entrust the repairs to the droids, especially with half the staff in the infirmary. Those droids have to repair the ventilation tunnels before the gas reaches critical levels. Even if we wanted to get out of here, we have to repair the tunnels first. Hamne complained, explaining the order of priority of the work that had to be done.
That ship won't get very far, though. Even if it had the orbital drift charts for the asteroids, unfortunately the navigation computer has a voice password. You would need the password to be able to fly. Seeing this latest disobedience by the droids, I am going to place those in this section under the control of the current docking officer. If anyone sends orders to the mining droids from outside this terminal, they will have to activate a complete cancellation. Reasoned the customs officer, somewhat tired of the mistakes that were happening.
He accessed log 253-17: he blocked the navigation computer
[He saw interference at the beginning of the recording]... it seems that those droids have started the ship, despite the damage. Even so. The maintenance officer still won't admit that he sent them to fix it. Although we still can't access the navigation computer. You have a voice password, it could be the one from the corpses we found on the ship. Like the old woman who I've been told is Kreia, a Jedi master, but I don't know how she got here. The young man explained all the strange things and unknowns in his mind.
"If that's the case, the ship won't go anywhere unless we rip out the navigation computer and put in another one. If we had one, that is, but we don't. Let's see if we can get it started. Anyway, the only reason to block the navigation computer would be to hide its astronomical navigation charts. Someone doesn't want us to know where that ship was going or where it had been. It's typical of smugglers or someone who wants to hide something. Surik has a lot of questions to answer. The officer explained the situation and the difficulties in using the Ebony Falcon.
After seeing that, the little droid where the main functions of the console were and left the console
He went to the closed hatch and placed a sonic mine on the door that he couldn't open and moved away until it exploded and the closed hatch opened, where he saw a rocky cavern, possibly dug by the station's miners, containers and trunks, as well as his companion 3C-FD in poor condition. T3 checked on his robot comrade and saw that his body had been ruined, leaving him useless and irreparable. Saddened, the little blue droid stole everything, hacking them. He found energy shields, credits, medpacks, computer tips, flamethrowers for droids, as well as other useful things. It was a way to vent his frustration at the loss of his companion.
The droid returned to the box room and went back to the terminal
where he accessed the options where he had to use computer tips and tried to open the door to the hangar, but he only saw that it said "circuit removed," which prevented him from opening it.
He then tried to open the door to the fuel depot, and this one did open, but he decided to stay and see what else was in the functions.
He accessed the cameras to see what was happening.
He saw the camera in hangar 25, as well as the main warehouse and the security warehouse, but he only saw the same places he had visited or looked at before. But when he saw one more camera, which was in the decontamination area he hadn't seen before, it was simple: a smoky cavern and a wall with a window and a hatch, nothing more than that.
He accessed the communications systems.
But as he clicked on the option to access the communications systems
the option to run diagnostics on the damaged systems appeared, and he clicked on it.
But it said:
Signal unit destroyed.
Communication system from the hangar.
Inoperative
The automaton returned to the main options, where he accessed the hangar layout.
The little robot was able to download the hangar diagram, which showed three exits: the magnetic containment field to space, a route to the fuel pipes in the cargo bay, and the entrance to the fuel tank.
The little robot left the terminal and went through the hatch on its right, where it saw a curved corridor with windows on the left side that looked out onto the hangar and walls on the right side, as well as many hostile droids, which it burned with its droid flamethrower. It examined them but found nothing removable from its opponents.
After the brief fight, the droid opened another hatch revealing a small room with a destroyed droid and saw that he could collect, but only found a repair kit and reflector for droids, an armor plate, found something new to wear, and saw a hatch on his right where he entered, saw two more hostile droids and easily finished them off, as well as seeing another hatch.
The little one turned slightly and looked at a trunk from which he took out a sonic grenade, heavy welded armor plates, and an ionic charger, and took them with him. He examined the destroyed droids but found nothing.
He opened the hatch and saw an elevator with buttons that said "fuel depot," and T3 got on it, until he reached some slightly curved corridors with cave ceilings and walls with windows. He saw an energy field covering an exit on the left and continued on his way until he reached the end of the corridor, which connected to two more corridors. On his left was a small corridor with a computer or terminal, and on his right was a corridor leading to another corridor filled with energy walls... which blocked his progress.
He decided to interact with the computer, which was for fuel control, according to the screen.
He saw the options and was shown
Access remote cameras Open system log Open emergency systems diagram
He accessed the cameras and the options were
Fuel pipe sensors
Maintenance level
Entrance to the droid maintenance area
He accessed the first camera and saw a large pipe with gates to pass through when there was no fuel. The next camera showed a level similar to where he had been before. He saw the camera at the entrance to the droid maintenance area, but only the same barriers he had seen in the distance
Then he returned to the main functions of the console.
Open system log.
The following is displayed on the screen
Yesterday, a series of explosions inside the Peragus mining facility triggered an emergency shutdown. Someone hacked into the fuel depot computers and created a fake spill, sealing off the area with force fields to contain the explosion. It appears that someone has been using the lockdown to systematically isolate sections of the facility.
He then returned to the console's main functions.
Open emergency systems diagram.
Emergency systems diagram.
Status: disabled
The option on the screen read
Open Peragus administration level emergency hatch
And T3 clicked on that option, then on the screen
Emergency hatch
Administration level
Opening...
Done
The T3 droid left the console and was moving down the corridor when something attacked it, damaging it severely.
While Meetra and Atton were talking, the flirtatious droid asked
- So, um... How many memories of being a Jedi were there, how many years or decades? It must be very difficult: no family, no wife, no husband, no sons, no daughters, no boyfriend or girlfriend. Atton asked, curious about his companion's life
"It's no worse than putting up with your fake concern while you stare at my breasts," complained the amnesiac, somewhat annoyed by her companion's lewdness.
"Hey, I wasn't trying to..." The brown-haired man couldn't finish his sentence because of something they both heard.
It was a signal on the computer indicating that the emergency door was open.
"Hey, who would have thought? That little cargo cylinder did it." The flirtatious one joked about T3 and how it achieved what they wanted.
"It seems so. But it's strange that it didn't contact us with the communicator." Meetra said, somewhat concerned about what had happened to the droid.
"If they've started the turbo lifts, we should have a clear path to the hangar," concluded the flirtatious one, excited at the thought that they could go straight where they wanted to go.
"The turbo lifts are manually closed, so I asked him to open the emergency hatch," Surik clarified to her comrade so he wouldn't get his hopes up too much.
"Wait, wait, you're not going to go down that hatch into the tunnels, are you?" Rand asked his friend, concerned about the risk she was taking by going there.
"The explosion I heard came from below. It's likely that there's nothing down there but very hot rock and collapsed tunnels. It would be idiotic to go down there," explained the joker, alarmed and doubtful about his friend's risky idea.
"Maybe, but it's the only way out, and it's better that I risk my life." Surik suggested, pointing to herself to go down.
"Oh, you're either very brave or very reckless. Or both." The brown-haired man teased his comrade for her crazy ideas.
"All right, I'll try to control things from here. Be careful. The only things that are likely to move down there are mining droids, so don't take too many risks," the brown-haired man cautioned the Jedi.
"Hey, it's not that I don't care what happens to you or anything. It's just that I don't want to try to get off this rock alone," Rand explained, crossing his arms.
"All right. See you later." The brown-haired girl said goodbye as she prepared to leave.
But Atton motioned for her to wait and threw her an earpiece with a microphone, which she caught and put on.
"I'll keep the communicator open. I can still guide you through the tunnels from here. Although I don't know if the signal will reach that far," the brown-haired man assured his friend as he sat down in the chair at the console.
Meetra retraced her steps until she reached the emergency hatch that she had been unable to open before. Now it was open, and she saw a corridor and an elevator at the end. She got in and saw a button that said "mining tunnels" and went down. . . but first she saw an elegant corridor, as well as a gate, a path, and Atton interrupted her with a question.
"Can you hear me down there? Over?" she asked the joker, unable to communicate very well with her companion.
"Too bad... There's a lot of interference," Surik complained about the communication failure between them.
"There's a lot of interference down there, probably from the explosion. I'm theorizing," the flirtatious man tried to figure out why the signal was bad.
"But it looks like there's a route to the Peragus fuel depot, if the corridors hold up. The explosion has disabled almost all the sensors," concluded the brown-haired man, worried about not knowing where the droids were.
"There should be an emergency box in the next room. Be careful. There are many droid signals in the area, but I can't locate them," Atton cautiously explained to his companion as she advanced down the corridor to open the hatch.
"I'll be careful. If you detect anything, let me know," he asked kindly as he opened it and saw a small hallway, another hatch, a smoking destroyed droid, and an unlocked container, which he opened without any problem, where he found and grabbed a miner's uniform, medpac, prospecting equipment, miner's shield... from Telos and a safety harness.
"Did you find the emergency supplies?" he asked the brown-haired woman, unsure if his partner had found what she was looking for.
"It looks like drilling equipment... and a uniform," she said as she placed the items she had collected on the floor in a pile to put them on later.
"Damn it! I mean, that's fine, I'm glad to hear it. It doesn't make sense for you to go around half naked. It distracts... uh... the droids." Atton declared, somewhat contradictorily and somewhat upset because he wanted to continue seeing his comrade's sensuality.
"Look carefully, there should also be prospecting equipment and a safety harness inside. Miners use them when claiming asteroids. The scanning equipment is designed to detect sonic mines and protect you from them. The harness can help if you try to deactivate them. Atton explained the functionality of the artifacts found by the amnesiac Jedi.
"In this box there is also a kind of mining energy shield," she said to her friend, looking at the strange device.
"Yes, it's like a military shield, but it's designed to protect miners from lasers and heat. It should work against the droids' excavation lasers. It doesn't last forever, especially against multiple impacts, but it can give you some time if you're attacked by a battalion of droids." The brown-haired man explained how the device worked to his partner.
"It seems useful. How do I use it?" Surik asked, thinking about how to use it.
"Put it on your wrist and activate it like a medpac. I repeat, it doesn't last long, so use it wisely." Atton clarified the risks and benefits of the shield to his comrade.
"Understood. Anything else?" The brown-haired woman asked her comrade what else she needed to know.
"Hey, one more thing. I've fixed some of the tracking signals, and if the numbers are correct, it shares those tunnels with a whole battalion of mining droids," the joker informed his friend with concern.
"Any advice on how to eliminate those droids?" the amnesiac Jedi asked her companion.
- Well, they're construction models and they shoot like a militia of farmers. Since they rely on ranged weapons, get close with a melee weapon and destroy them with blows or sword strikes. In close combat with a short, sharp vibro weapon, you have an advantage over the rifle, whether it's a droid or not. Otherwise, shoot them from a distance, unless they're hiding, of course. I recommend using different modes to take out different droids.
- Shielded? Meetra curiously asks her comrade about that word.
- Yes, it's possible that some models may have mining shields. If so, the shields will absorb the laser fire. Normally, if a shield is active, it creates an electric field around the user. If they activate a shield, the best thing you can do is attack them with a melee weapon or burn the shield with continuous shots. But that could take time and make you a target for them. Atton explained in detail how to defeat the mining droids.
"I'll do that. Anything else?" Meetra wondered what other advice the flirtatious guy could give her.
"There must be a central controller down there. Look for a terminal near the main access column. From there, you can control them." The flirtatious guy explained to his partner how to gain an advantage over the hostiles.
Surik checked the remains of the droid, found useful parts for later, then opened the hatch where she was and saw another one that she also opened. She saw a connecting room with four corridors in four directions. In the center, she saw a glass structure like a cylinder... vertical, with a polymer base with controls. To his left, he found a hostile droid and attacked it with his saber, destroying it, as well as the others in the same corridor. Beyond the corridor, he could see a natural rock mining tunnel. He turned around and explored the tunnel to his right, which was partially collapsed, and could see mines and a broken droid. As he approached, Atton spoke to him through the communicator
- Watch your step. He detects a lot of sonic mines. Don't run unless necessary, it makes them harder to locate. If you know anything about demolition, you can try to recover them and use them against the droids. That is, if the mines don't blow you up first, of course. If you have testing equipment or a safety harness, get in touch with them. It will be a little easier for you to detect and defuse the sonic charges. He informed Rand, concerned about the dangers near his comrade.
"Why are there so many charges down here?" Surik wondered, seeing so many mines where he was.
"Mining droids, especially excavator models, can activate and place charges for drilling. Most likely, if they had charges left after going haywire, they placed them to try to kill the miners and you. If you see one of those excavators, be careful. They may have charges and use them as projectiles." Atton informed Surik about the enemies and their abilities.
- Understood, Meetra, over. The Jedi with no memory said goodbye as she continued on her way.
We used the abilities she didn't know she had, but knew how to use, to shut down and recover the mines from the ground, then went to the droid to look for useful components she found.
Through the nexus, she went to the tunnel in front of her and found a tunnel with a closed gate and a broken droid from which she removed its useful components.
Then she walked through the left tunnel of the nexus where, in the stone tunnel, she could see small steam geysers, as well as metal columns that served as supports. She saw a broken droid and decided to steal its useful components, but she only found a sonic mine and components. She observed how the tunnel took a 90-degree turn, continued moving forward, noticing that there were more droids, which he cut down with his sword and used one as a shield with one hand to reflect the shots of the others. He got close to them as they came in a group and slashed them all, destroying them. In one section of the tunnel, he found a crystal structure similar to that of the nexus, but there was a large collapse near it.
Surik saw a corpse. She looted it and found an advanced mining blaster rifle, medpac, energy shield, and adrenaline boost, things she would use later.
She could feel her past abilities returning. Now she could be faster with the Force, and she could also stun droids with it.
"What's happening to me? I guess it was more powerful than I thought," the Jedi thought to herself as she wondered what other powers they might have.
Then he saw a small object where things were stored and only found an ion cell that he would use later as he made his way through the foggy tunnel. He then found a corpse where he found shields, medpacks, and credits, until he saw a section of the tunnel where he saw toxic, boiling gases that made a section of the tunnel dangerous.
"Hey, be careful! The explosion has overheated the tunnels, and the boiling steam in certain areas can burn the skin and muscle off your bones. If you can find a mining energy shield, activate it. It will protect you from the heat if you move quickly. Inform Rand about the dangers of the tunnels."
- Understood. Meetra, out. Metraa said goodbye to her comrade as she continued onward.
Using the speed of the Force and an activated shield, the Jedi entered the dangerous section and hurried through. On the other side of the toxic zone, she saw two hostile droids, which Meetra easily destroyed, as well as two sonic mines. She examined the robots' bodies and found a repair kit, recovered the mines, advanced until she found another nexus, found more mines to recover, collapsed tunnels, and a corpse where they found shields and credits.
She left the nexus and found more droids, which she took down without any trouble, collecting components, a sonic mine, and a basic mullinina blade. Halfway there, she heard the voice of her least favorite flirt.
"Are you getting close to something big? I think it's the main ventilation shaft. The central droid control should be nearby. Try to find it. I'm picking up a lot of droids, so if you still have energy in your shield, I suggest you activate it. He told his friend exactly where he was.
"There aren't just mining droids down here. There are also sphere sensors," Surik reported curiously as she recounted what she saw.
"Sensors? They must be for maintenance. Be careful, those pests will try to repair the mining droids if you don't destroy them completely first. Although it's rare for them to still be active after the explosion," explained the joker, with questions in his mind about those automatons.
"They don't have the shields of the mining droids," clarified Surik's companion, telling her the advantages of fighting those robots.
"Be careful with those droids, they're not very pleasant," the young man warned his friend.
"Understood. Meetra, let's go." The amnesiac Jedi said goodbye to her comrade and then saw a large room with a central walkway with a circular platform inside full of controls over a circular abyss. In each corner there was a nexus with the crystal structures, in each nexus there was a shield and droids, and there were also droids that went after her, but she finished them off without any problem. She saw a corpse on the walkway and stole what she thought would be useful.
She found a medpac, shields, combat stimulants, and components. Surik went to the round platform and connected to the console where it said
Peragus Drilling Central Control
Emergency shutdown activated
Explosions detected in fuel chambers.
The interaction options were
Open droid command functions Access fuel containment functions Access chamber functions Open supply cylinder, but (needs to be hacked with computer tips)
Meetra left the console and opened the cylinder with her manual hacking, found useful items, a safety tip opener, a sonic grenade, a Medpac, and then returned to the console.
She accessed the camera functions option.
The options were
Emergency hatch to the administration level
Emergency hatch to the fuel tank.
Holographic recording chamber: labor claim 12-34
She accessed the first option and saw the same section she had been in before. She accessed the second option and saw a hatch, a fuel connection, a mining droid, and a sphere sensor.
He accessed the third option and saw the following.
"Is everyone here?" asked the one known as Coorta, a young human with fair skin, a mature appearance, and light brown hair, as he looked at his comrades to whom he wanted to say something.
"What's up, Coorta?" We were supposed to be putting fuel bombs in 32-18. A fair-skinned, young-looking man with brown hair looked puzzled as he looked at the aforementioned man.
"Forget the pumps. Remember the survivor they pulled out of the freighter? One of the miners says he served with her on Malachor V." The light brown-haired man informed his companions about the matter.
"Malachor V? So she's one of the survivors. Or, even worse, a Mandalorian. So what?" I dismiss a light-skinned human man with black hair and Asian features.
"She's not just any survivor, you idiot. She's one of the Jedi from Malachor V, Meetra Surik. One of Revan's allies." Coorta clarified, somewhat annoyed by his friend's lack of interest.
"If she's one of the Jedi, damn it, we can't have her around here. No, I don't know what I'd do." The brown-haired man trembled, not knowing what the survivor might do when she woke up.
"I thought all the Jedi had died in the civil war. Isn't that right?" The black-haired man asked, wondering how one could still be alive here.
"Looks like one got away, but it gets better: I checked, and that Nar Shaddaa bounty is still on. The light brown-haired man concluded with an excited tone and an ambitious smile as he looked at his comrades.
"What? You want to sell the Jedi to the exchange? Coorta, have you been chewing spice?" The brown-haired companion said incredulously, seeing his companion's dangerous ambitions.
"Hey, do you know how much the reward is? That Jedi is our ticket out of this rock." The light brown-haired man said encouragingly, sounding both ambitious and excited.
"Coorta, the officers aren't going to overlook this. They'll lock us up." The black-haired man confirmed, somewhat pessimistic, knowing what would surely happen.
"Then we'll improvise." Coorta reasoned with a mischievous smile, ready to execute his master plan.
[Then the recording cuts off; apparently someone erased the rest.]
He accessed the fuel containment functions.
The options were:
Turn off the containment fields Return to main functions
He pressed the first one and the shields containing the nexuses turned off.
She accessed the option to open droid command functions.
She could add other parameters to the droid protocols
Cancel all droid drilling functions on organic beings
Reassign the mining droid protocols to drill through the sealed doors
Check droid schematics
He could see the droid schematics and, using his programming knowledge that he began to remember, he could see that they use thermal sensors to detect fuel deposits. He used his computer skills to raise the temperature of the tunnels and blind the automatons.
He left the console and went to fight the droids to gain experience. He finished off the automatons in one corner, went to another where there was a collapsed corridor and another with a closed door, destroyed several droids, and finally obtained two energy shields and a sonic grenade. He followed the hallway with the door and saw a broken droid. He was able to take components and a computer tip, went to another corner where he finished off the droids and saw a corpse with medpacks and useful items.
Finally, he went to the last corner where two corridors met. He went through the corridor with the closed gate, where he destroyed a droid and stole a medpac. He hacked the gate and saw a nexus. He went down a corridor and saw that it was collapsing with a destroyed droid. He checked it and found useful components and a grenade. Sonic went to another corridor opposite and saw that it had an unreinforced tunnel and began to recover mines as he advanced.
She saw a corpse with a basic ionite blade, a heart regulator, a heavy mining laser, a combat stimulator, credits, a repair kit, and components. She went back the way she came and saw another corridor on her left that had collapsed and saw another broken droid. She found a sonic grenade and components, returned to the corner of the console room, and entered another corridor in the same corner.
He noticed that the corridor was curved and there were more hostile droids, which he took down with his sword. He found a small container with a grenade.
He continued forward and received a transmission from his comrade.
"Hey, I'm getting strange signals. What are you doing down there?" Rand asked as he remained at the console, wanting to know what had happened to his friend.
"What kind of signals?" Surik asked doubtfully, raising an eyebrow as she waited for the answer.
"The containment fields in the tunnels are closing. You have to get out of there before they release fuel onto the asteroid's surface through the tunnels." Atton notified her as he looked at the console and the readings that indicated what he was saying.
"Can you override it?" Surik asked, concerned about his delicate and dangerous situation.
"Maybe I can contain it until I reach the elevator in the fuel depot, but not much longer. I'm going to shut down the turbo-elevator in the administration section so the explosion doesn't spread. If you have anything left to do down there, do it quickly. I'll be there in a minute, it's going to get really hot. The flirtatious man reported, worried about what might happen to his partner.
Surik hurried forward and noticed some mines in the hallway, which she recovered and then saw another nexus. She went down a collapsed hallway on the left, destroyed a hostile droid, and recovered a sonic detonator from its remains. She went to the hallway in front, which was also collapsed, and found a container, which she opened with a mine. She found a medpac, energy shield, chemicals, repair kit, and credits.
She went down the hallway on the right and saw a maintenance sphere, which she destroyed with her lightsaber. She moved down the hallway, saw a corpse, and searched it, finding an energy shield, credits, and chemicals. She noticed another nexus where she saw more hostile droids and took them down with her lightsaber. In the bodies of the automatons, they found an adrenaline resistance and a sonic detonator.
Surik could feel her memories returning, including the electric trial and her computer skills. She passed the nexus and saw the turbo-elevator, which she boarded just in time.
