After Lily Turner's emotions stabilized, she withdrew from Easton Holmes's embrace. She thought she must look a bit disheveled at the moment and didn't dare to look up at him.

After expressing her gratitude, she lowered her head, opened the car door, and got inside.
Before Easton Holmes got in the car, Lily Turner tidied her hair with her hand. Just as she was about to rub her slightly tense eyes, she saw him open the car door.
Quickly turning to face the car window, she swiftly raised her hands to rub her tired eyes.
Lily Turner's side-stepping actions were immediately noticed by the boarding Easton Holmes, but he didn't say anything about it, nor did he press her about what was wrong.
Even though he hadn't known her for long, he understood her; if she didn't want to talk, there was no point in pushing her.
