I'm Lilla and I have no family name. I'm the only daughter of Augusta and Flute who are both working at my father's dojo.
I used to be the star student of my father's dojo. I was the strongest there and with the most potential. But Father always repeated.
"Don't be arrogant Lilla, you don't have that great talent."
At first, I thought he was just helping me to avoid becoming arrogant and making a fool of myself.
So, I worked very diligently and seriously to keep myself always ahead of the rest. But all of that changed one day. To be more specific.
Everything changed the day, Paul and his friends stormed into my father's friend's dojo. He beated everyone there like a bandit, then he broke the dojo sign. Declaring that the dojo was useless to him.
Everyone gossiped about what happened, saying that if Paul dared to come here, we'd beat him. Some even bragged they could defeat him alone.
The nextday, my father returned to the dojo carrying a boy my age (twelve at the time). And declared him his own discipline. Everyone in the dojo objected, but Father had already decided. Our opinions were just an after thought to him.
My mother hated him the most. Why? Because he moved like a bandit, talked like a bandit and he beats anyone who challengs him while mocking them, but the real problem is he spent most of his time sleeping, lazing around or even flirting with me.
(He never tried to train not even once).
But to make matters worse, every day he slept with different women. Sometimes in the dojo, sometimes in their homes.
To simply explain his character is: he is a braggart like noble kids, but with a bandits attitude. Every day, he shares the dinner table with us without single hint of manners or etiquette these traits are essential in our school.
(He usually eats with hand and gulp the meat in very disgusting way not mentioning talking back to mom or burping after drinking or swallowing big chunck of meat).

But with what he's doing, he is just angering mother more and more.
Paul on the other hand with carefree attitude had already beated everyone in the dojo including me humiliating us with his carefree attitude and bragging of it. (He was teasing us in middle of spars and after beating us he mocks us about that we are too weak). Making us all want father to fight him to break his nose. (I meant his ego but no one would mind if father disfigures his face in the way).
But, he beated father in a fair duel. (Something seemed impossible to us). But, father responded with his joyful carefree attiude and said.
"You have to beat me again. If you want to leave."
The next few day.
Paul, as always, sleeping with a carefree attitude, oblivious to everything around him. Then the Water God arrived, Lady Redia Reia. (The strongest W.G.S user A.K.A The Water God). To have a duel against her was a great honor, and it appeared she and Father were close friends
Naturally, I was thrilled by her arrival and the duel where Father gave her a fight. But lost, not that he ever stood a chance, but the fact he held his own was something to be proud of.
I was at the peak of happiness, until she announced she would train Paul from now on. The entire dojo was furious. Also she recognized his potential, by stating.
"If that brat trained seriously, he could surpass me one day."
She recognised him. And going to train him not me the daughter of her friend. I was devastated but at the same time I was refusing to acknowledge Paul. I just couldn't understand. How, I was training non-stop. And a sloth like him beats me this easily like that.
I acknowledge he is somehow stronger than me, but he is everything father warned us about. He is a sloth, arrogant fool, with uncontrolled wrath. And above all moves behind his instincts (like animals) never using his brain. (Which was useless in the first place).
He was like a plague who hitted the dojo. He was a plague and we must got rid of him. Thankfully mother took the responsibility of that. But, strangely enough he too wanted to leave the dojo. But he couldn't, because Father is always stopping him from doing so. And every time he does, father returns with a knocked out Paul.
All of mother ploys failed miserably. If anything it just made Paul more irritated with the place more than ever. To him it was hell. Everyone hates him. He got beated daily from Lady Redia Reia. Mother bad mouth him daily with many other students. And father stopped helping him. Because he is almost always busy, by trying to solve problems Paul came with.
(He used to be a gang leader from the slums, so he hurt many people before coming here, because of that many people wanting revenge in him. They trying to attack him in the dojo, but thankfully there wasn't anyone who can even danger me so father usually more than sufficient to solve the problems).
One day I and mother even Paul himself. We got father cornered and asked him. Why he don't let Paul leave. (Yes, he had the skill, but he don't use it. And he doesn't even care about it).
Then father revealed to us the harsh truth, he wants Paul to be his successor. And he wants him to marries me and take care of the dojo. I was devastated, with hence of frustration apparently everyone in the room was also frustrated. Having the same opinion as me. Paul said he can't stay in the area. Mother wanted to refuse what father has said but she couldn't.
(I already knew father stated that. "The most diligent student, who has the highest potential I will make him marry Lilla and be my successor.").
But I just can't believe what father wants, he wants a sloth, womaniser, trash and uncontrolled beast to be his successor, favouring him over all the other hardworking students losing the one of the most important advantages this dojo has.
Our dojo doesn't favour anyone from it's students even from the noble house sons. Making them stop coming here and even if they come, they will be treated the same as everyone else. So, they always leave this school out of their choices.
And father favoured the perfect example of what he warned us not to become. The school will lose more of it's credibility to people. In the past when they saw me being treated the same as everyone else and I was even more diligent than everyone else. It was our biggest proof of how good our dojo is. And it proves that there's no favourites in our dojo.
(But father is just sacrificing all of that because a strong kid who could be one of the strongest in the world people if he trained seriously).
After some weeks
Father who used to be the one who trains all of us. Now he pushed all the training to me and Mother. Because father have become now always busy with pushing off bandits. Who apparently Paul beated them on their base in a very humiliating way, making people stop paying tribute for them, since a child had kicked their butts and before leaving their base he broke their base's door.
(He destroyed their ego in very remarkable way. They saw him three days ago sleeping with a certain blonde adventurer. And after following him they found where they stay and decided to attack him at dawn with all of there numbers. When they were going to attack they saw father and Lady Redia in there way not know who they are they attacked them too, father beated many of them and Lady Redia killed the rest).
In another means they will never leave our dojo now.
Father always stops them alone, but their common appearance irritated Lady Redia Reia. And that made her say:
"If you weren't close friend Augusta I would have counted the debt is over." Before, leaving to her room she remarked to us: "I acknowledges that brat had a talent. But, if he doesn't take things seriously it's matter of wasting time and I don't have a lot of it."
After Lady Redia remark, Mother has become even harsher on her ways of making Paul's life in dojo is hell. She stopped giving him food. Until, he helps us in dojo and becomes diligent student somehow. And Father isn't free to help him, he has too many issues to have time look after him.
(Most of Father's issues he has is because of bandits that came because of Paul).
Father was afraid they were to attack when he isn't on guard and hurt any of our students, this will be the last nail in our coffin. This will break our dojo beyond fixing. The mere idea is terrifying to him, in which I can't blame him for being afraid, but why not solve the problem and hand them Paul? Or at least kick him out.
(I'm sure I can be better and stronger than him with training).
Paul wasn't really affected by what mother did for 2 reasons, he already had been eating and sleeping out of dojo for sometime already. All she did was decreasing the amount of food wasted on him. Making him even more sloth than ever. To him It didn't matter she just decreased the number of times he eats it daily. To him one of them won't matter to him. Because he was already sloth, losing a meal or two daily wouldn't effect him that much.
One day after Lady Redia after beating Paul as usual, she looked at him then his hands before stating: his sword is one of the reasons, is holding him back is his sword, because his sword has become a very rusty old sword with a chipped edge. Because the amount of unwashed blood of countless bodies had been through.
That give mother the perfect idea. Which, is stealing Paul sword and attack him when he doesn't have one. This way a single student could beat him.
But that's didn't happen, because he somehow he beated 4 vs 1 unarmed. And even took one of the students' sword who attacked him, then started shouting. After that, he decided 'that's it'. Then stated: that he is leaving the dojo for good.
He left the dojo before taking his daily lesson from Lady Redia.
After hour of him leaving. Lady Redia Reia returned from outside the dojo. She was irritated from whatever Paul had probably said, or done out there. We were all sure something had happened, in their time out in the city. (Because of her strange irritation).
Father also returned with her, he was carrying unconscious Paul on his shoulder, (as usual like every time he escapes). Father is always carrying him after beating him unconscious.
But this time seems like Lady Redia is the one who beated him, since Paul looks got beated very badly. Same can be said about Father's state. Father this time is covered in sand, he looked at Paul with a small frown before saying. "Looks like I can't control him anymore."
Father dropped him in his room. And then, started to look for the troubles Paul did trying to fix them. Before they leaves a big disaster. But, they already did.
Apparently Paul did an impact on the city since most of the hurt students is parents from father's friend's dojo came asking for compensation for what Paul did, taking half of our funds and big chunk of our savings and after them came his friend (the owner of the dojo) demanding compensation for his dojo which took all our funds, barely leaving us with some left over of our savings that won't last for a year.
At first I thought of entering Paul room killing him outright using the fact he is unconscious, but dropped the idea. (I had already saved Paul many times from students who wanted to do this themselves, also I helps him when a student goes overboard, not because I care about that idiot, but because I care about our dojo reputation). Whatever happens I won't fall to this level. So, I decided to take my frustration on training and I gone all out in training.
I had to work even harder if I want to be useful to my family so that what I did I trained harder than ever this day leaving all my body stiff and I barely was able to move and went to sleep to my room. Not knowing that will help making worst day on my life.
I didn't sleep for long before I was woken up by Paul who was over me, he was preparing himself to rape me. I didn't realise what was he doing at first. When I did realise. (While they were talking I was only remembering what he said yesterday, he said something about being a failed noble and his friends which one of them was half of his strength, but unlike him he had responsibilities. He had sister he has to protect which will slow him down, so he decided to help him settle down and before he left me that day, he declared he will be an adventurer).
So what he said yesterday was true, maybe, just maybe. (He wasn't that evil). After that Lady Redia Reia left saying her debt is over. Afterwards life in dojo continues to become worse and worse.
The bandits when they heard about Lady Redia had left the dojo. They gathered every members who is left in the gang and all came attacking the dojo at the same time making it impossible to me and father to push them all out ourselves at the same time. And some of them got in. And destroyed the place and harming some of the students doing what father feared and even worse. When, they couldn't find Paul they become furious and killed one of the students. Who could be passed as Paul to save their face in front of people.
Many of the parents took their kids out of the dojo and the parents of kids who got hurt asked for compensation from father and he didn't have money for it, so we had to be indebted to one of the greedy merchants with a very big interest to pay the money. The merchant said: If we didn't pay twice the money father had taken from him by the end of the year the he will take the dojo from us.
And dojo itself was almost closed because we lost a lot of our students due to the fact no-one wants to come to us after losing all of our advantages above the other.
The favouritism which Paul had taken that wasn't heard about in our dojo.
The strongest in the area which Paul also had broken. (By beating father, when the word spread that a student beat his master it tarnished our reputation, even if father was stronger than all the other teacher in the city, but the word had already been spread).
And finally the safest which also Paul has already broken. (Because of bandits attacks, in the past no gang dared to attack us before).
Also it appears that a low-class nobleman offered a marriage between me and the reserve to ensure there wouldn't be a fight for the head of the family. And as if to make matters worse mother had become pregnant all of the sudden. Leaving our debt even growing more that day. That day I decided one of the most important decisions on my life. I decided to leave home and help our family by finding job either as a maid for low or middle class nobile family or private guard maid for middle class or higher.
And when I declared my decision to father and mother. Also I declared my incoming sibling will be the heir of the dojo. And I will work to repay the money they had spent on me. (I have to repay it).
That day was the first time I talked to father since the Paul incident happened. And he accepted my words with mom. Through connections father has he talked to a middle class noble house to take me as private maid and guard to his little daughter.
With a good salary, which can cover our new family debt in half a decade. Which is three times of our original debt, but with four years to pay it. (As long As we pay at least a silver coin a month).

Immediately the head asked me to report about what happened, after that he inspected their background before interrogating the alive ones himself.
After his interrogation finished he congratulated me on my last job. And promised me to double the salary after he finishes what he is inspecting. Also he promised me that he will resign a new deed with me. Since the deed I'm working with them with is almost finished too. But as a bonus he promised me to add whatever I want as condition as favour for saving his second daughter.
And he even offered me to add his 3rd son into my work with triple the salary. At this point I thought I will never find better job and said to myself.
"I will have to wait for when master is free and I will ask for the new deed to be one gold coin as salary that will be more than enough for me for now with both Young Lady and new Young Master Derrick."
Two days had passed since then, but what I realised that master's expression had soured and he became very paranoid like he discovered something he wasn't supposed to. If anything he become more paranoid and impatient with everything and he even was searching for a water saint to be guard and protect the family, but he couldn't any after long search, he found a retired adventurer magician known for his great skill in protecting caravans and fighting humans. So he made a contract with that retired magician adventurer instead and signed a long deed with him.
The next day I found letter in very high quality expensive envelope sent to "Lilla daughter of Augusta" I searched for sender only to find the royal family seal on it. And the sender is the Queen herself.
The letter context concluded a praise for my recent save. And stopping the bandits gang who even got through a North Saint and on different occasion a Water Saint. With their skills and with numbers against each of them.

Because of how this school is working father didn't get me in there and advised against angering any noble to live peaceful life. (I wish had taken his advice with Paul though. I shouldn't think about him now).
It made me debate with myself should I accept the offer or not, I'm afraid of being used as sacrifable pawn.

When I refused, his smirk faded then his face turned serious before at last he gave me one of genuine smile like the ones he gave to his kids never gave it to one of the employees before.
"Well that was expected. I already received orders to kick you off the house. So, you will have to accept the proposal of the Royal family. They can't take chances to be ignored or refused by a mere commoner. In their eyes." he said the last part with a frown.
"Take this as my last advice, Lilla. Listen well. First never trust anyone. Second always be attentive like the day you saved Edwina. And lastly never ever show any emotion. And watch for everyone else is face. And movements every gesture no matter how small it's matters everything means something there. Good luck! You are going to need a lot of it their. And the most important advice never ever under any circumstances trust the prime minister Darius Ganius Silva." He advised me like father advising his daughter and I almost felt a tear were going to leave his eye but he dismissed it.

The plan failled in a very bad way, because the Queen got killed and the princess who was inside the palace got attacked too. So the assassins knew in the first place she was inside the palace. But thankfully we pushed the attack off her and she was safe. Unlike her mother.
(The king proved to be orientated piece being putted on the throne, because the prime minister was the one who decided what to do, with what happened).
Life continues, but the only difference is the high nobles started to approach me in a disgusting manner more than before. Especially Darius who every day was groping me or calling me just to order me doing things will make me appear with erotic poses.

So, with all of my power I jumped taking the stab on my right leg. (Directly at my knee) I stopped the assassins, but I felt pain more than the usual and my eyes felt heavy I barely can open. (That's when I realised what's happening I got poisoned).
The next day I woke up in my bed next to many doctors and healers, telling me they tried to heal my leg their best, but failed and I can no longer stomp or run. After that Darius offered me to get a king class heal for me. In exchange for never refusing him again. (Of course I refused).
After this with a very disgusting smile, he told me I'm no longer useful and I am fired.
I don't care how, but I must run from them. I know too much about the higher nobility inner secret fetishes, economies and systems. (Like Paul, she also appears to hate titles and nobility stiffness, sometimes she also looks at me and Paul trying to figure out what's between the two of us, but after sometime she started to leave it be).
She works as healer on the village clinic to heal people with healing magic, she heals people on very low prices not caring for money as much as she cared for people themselves.
After sometime I realised she was the reason Paul changed to the better person and she treated me very nicely too. But she hates the boundaries I put to keep my work perfect. Days continues and Lady Zenith stayed home because her late pregnancy period but she started to decorate the house to enjoy her stay home.
One day she started screaming from pain and I saw Birth water falling from her, so I helped her to wear birth dress and helped her to the master bedroom and called Lord Paul to her.
(I put some level of limit between us and it seems it made things awkward to him).
The birth wasn't hard if anything, I think it went easier than the usual "like the baby is not fighting to be born." When the birth finally finished I realised the baby had very weak pulse and he lets his breath out weakly. After that I gave her the baby to find them both silent. And I realised the baby is dying he stopped breathing and he stopped making any response like lifeless body.
Then I remembered the training the taught us on the silver palace if the baby is born stillborn or weaker than the usual how to do some pushing to the chest with the right level it can save their life. I jumped and my leg hurt me badly on doing so. But I couldn't stop yet, I started pushing his chest then Called Lady Zenith to help me by healing him I need either one king class heal. Or as many healing as possible.
(That's what we were trained on anyway).
After what appears to be hour or less, the boy finally opened his eyes weakly then after healing him fully he started breathing and crying with this. I really needed rest I got out to sit.
But after I sat I remembered the tradition of the new birth, so I baked the cake. After going to present it I found Lady Zenith sleeping and Paul staying alone celebrating by drinking beer. I presented the cake he just holed it with the fork, without eating anything. Then he started apologising all of the sudden and tried to change topics to avoid eating the cake, but he was sincere on apologising second time and even I saw him was really affected by what he did.
I was happy that he apologised, but I didn't forget it, neither did I forgiven him fully. So I told him he must forget about the past and he must celebrate his son birth by eating his bitrh cake. When he was eating the cake, he was choking very hardly and dying for water, but for some reason I felt happy by leaving him, I left him dying for water. Until, he finished the cake, then got him water. Which he drank the whole cup on one gulp. (He still the same with sweet things, he used to hates them back then, and it appears old habits die hard).
With this, I got my revenge on Paul since he changed from his past self, into a refined man. I have no idea what to do as a revenge on him. I don't want to harm a good version of Paul and if anything he never harmed me, since that day and now he is protecting me from nobility. So, I will leave it be.
After that it appears that the child suffers, and he need high class healing I think at least saint level to be good immediately when I wanted to apologise for falling them, they were genuine in saying: it doesn't matter, what really matters I saved his life which they were going to fail without me around.
The days become repeated loop for all of us me, Lady Zenith and Young Master Rudeus, until he started crawl at the age of five months which was very quick especially with his limitations. After that he started talking very limited but fast for kid his age. Then he become more affectionate with Lady Zenith and Lord Paul.
He also started to get better than before, it really gives us some peace in mind, it helped us lowering everyday tension by a lot especially for them, but for me I was still scared he was going to die at any moment, gladly it didn't happen but that doesn't mean he was safe yet, he was neither one year old yet, nor he was healthy yet. (When he reaches one year old he will passed this dangerous period).
After that I started to realise he had some kind of intelligence and consciousness. He is well aware comparing him to the princess she started to have this level of awareness when she was older at least one year old. (Which was special case in the first place I remember the queen celebrating this before her death by saying. "My daughter is a genius as expected of the future king of Asura.")
I felt worried if any noble hears about this they will come here to take him. And his parents are very attached to him to leave him this easily this may even attract Lord Sarous Boreas Greyrat. (The mere thought scared me). I can't openly tell his parents to hide him or even declare him dead. (But the problem if I didn't do anything and they discovered him they will sent high level knights to receive him and if we refused they will execute us all this is a common case all over the world).
Well, first things first, I will start by warning the kid not to show too much talent, in front of other people.
And I did warned him about the Mikos future. But I forgot to say anything about his very bad habit of calling people from behind them, (it scares me a lot), especially because he doesn't breathe much or does he have blood lust with it, making me can't feel his presence.
When I thought I solved the problem I found him chanting the whole healing chant fast enough like an adult after that he felt his body like assessing his chest then he did the intermediate one healing on his chest then falling asleep.
(That sight scared me, because of many reasons first thing, he is still too young yet still he can chant the whole intermediate healing like it's nothing, that's mean he had Awareness from the beginning of what is happening around him. Also this explains why he didn't need for healing magic this past few days).
I need to tell his parents, but what well they do if I told them they will bring him a tutor or worse they maybe go to Boreas household to ask then for help raising the kid. (It's the worst solution).
The best one I can think of, is tell them he is a Miko and tell them that he has conscious, and they must start treat him the right way. And explain to them that if any noble discovers anything about him, they will take him away forever, this will help especially with how Lady Zenith afraid of losing him.
"Lady Zenith, Lord Paul we need to talk." I told them when they were about to finish dinner the same day I found Young Rudeus chanting. When I finished my words I saw Lady Zenith looking at me curiously and Lord Paul flinches.
(Maybe he thought I was going to tell her about our history).
"Well, it's about Young Master Rudeus. Don't worry he is fine, I just think he is a Miko with early conscious. Because of that, I was going to suggest to give him some more time and maybe make him part of your daily life."
When I said it's about Young Rudeus not him, Paul sighed in relief then flinches again, when he realised what I said. Madame Zenith on other hand showed worried expression for a second, but when I was in middle of my sentence she blushed, then she showed happy expression and started jumping in happiness when I finished.
"Kyaah! did you hear that dear our Rudy is a genius. We are going to teach him now. Let's see how about we start by reading and writing maybe some low fitness training so when he grows up he can become a swordsman like you always wanted."
Lord Paul was lost for words for some seconds then he tried to talk many times, but he couldn't find chance by madame Zenith overwhelming talking way, but at the end he just nodded in agreement.
"About that dear what about getting Rudy a little brother. Hey! Don't forget to holding back in front Rudi." Lady Zenith suggested suddenly to Lord Paul and he just smiled at her suggestion and groped her ass then he got scolded with very cheerful attitude and they both continued to flirt forgetting I'm in front of them.
(Lady Zenith overwhelming nature made me forget to warn them about what happens to Mikos if nobles discovered them, but anyway it's common knowledge of course they aren't stupid enough to say it in front of anyone).
(I'm not really sure if they will hold back in front of Young Master Rudeus if they can't do that in front of me, but if anything I wish they treat him the right way and my peaceful stay here stays as long as possible).
