Lao Zu squinted looking at Hou's new body. The Celestial Law Amplifying Physique still evident, just more refined and more bonded. Before it was like the Celestial Ink was below the skin, but now it is the skin.
He patted Hou on the shoulder,
"Well done, your foundations are strong now just keep it up. Since you formed your Spirit Stone Soul in the Sky Solidifying Spring along with True Sage's inheritance, you should have an extremely developed body to hold laws and use them."
"Thank you, shall we go back now?"
Lao Zu smiled and fell, he didn't answer Hou's question. He fell through the solid air and falling down.
Hou rolled his eyes and shook his head a little,
"Well, I guess that's a yes?"
Hou deactivated the willpower releasing from his feet. Almost instantly, the air became incorporeal as is normal. His feet fell through and he started to plummet downwards.
While falling through the air he used the wings, not to fly or glide, just to stabilise his form. He spun in the air and turned around, now diving downwards.
Lao Zu was still falling upright if he was standing on something until he rotated while in the air and started to give, holding his arms in front.
They were perfectly in line to dive into the pool of qi below. The two sped up in the air, reaching into the building and then Lao Zu made it into the 'water'.
He punctured the water, with no resistance he dove deep down into the deep. Hou however, didn't know any fancy technique, he slammed down.
He imitated Lao Zu as much as he can, holding his arms in front. Then he hit the water, the arms breaking water tension and his body slamming into the qi.
The qi splashed upwards, almost reaching the height of the roof, where the skylight was open. Hou felt as he dove into the qi his wings shake. They were fluttering as if alive and he swum back to the surface.
"Take your time, you were fast in making the Spirit Stone Soul, just relax"
Lao Zu spoke as he floated on the water, in the shape of a starfish. Hou saw this and laid his wings on the water, the buoyancy allowing him to stay afloat effortlessly. He spoke,
"Do you know why my wings are fluttering?"
Lao Zu opened one of his eyes and the feather on the wings stopped, suddenly becoming limp,
"They're just excited. That treasure is versatile, it can use mental energy, laws and qi to power it. It's just absorbing qi right now, you won't need to worry about it running out any time soon"
Hou looked at his wings, the feathers suddenly becoming limp and then asked another question,
"Can I take some of this qi? I know I shouldn't rely on the qi but it's still useful like you said"
Lao Zu put his hand in the qi and splashed Hou,
"Do it, it doesn't matter to me. To me it's just some waste, I don't need it"
Hou nodded and closed his eyes. He started to communicate with Yue,
"With the Spirit Stone Soul do you think you can absorb the qi and refine it instantly?"
"I'm sure I can, my blood techniques are made super effective with just the Celestial Law Amplifying Physique, the Spirit Stone Soul should be able to hold a huge amount."
"Then I'll rely on you,"
Yue began to rebuild the blood techniques he once had in Hou's body. When Yue first reformed Hou's body he made a blood formation which automatically refines qi, now with the properties of Celestial Ink and Flowing Divine Script he felt he could make it stronger.
Yue began to construct a new formation, building upon his blood foundations with True Sage's inheritance of Flowing Divine Script. This could mean the qi absorption could become extremely fast.
He first built the blood formation, then removing certain techniques and replacing them with Flowing Divine Script. It would cause qi to spiral into Hou's body and then be captured by blood and refined.
Hou's blood was changed because of the Celestial Law Amplifying Physique, it could cause an amplification effect.
Yue finished the basic technique, an improved version of the blood one. Later he could make it work even stronger by remaking it from scratch
He activated it and the qi water started move. It was being absorbed into his body. This caused a vortex to form around Hou. He was dragged toward middle of the pool as all the water sloshed around.
Hou felt as the qi entered his body and used his blood to become his own. Every time the blood was used to refine it burned but nothing Hou wasn't used to. Once it was refined he could feel it like it was his own body part.
The liquid qi circled around in a vortex around Hou. As the whirlpool was forming, Lao Zu jumped out of the pool and watched on, mumbling to himself,
"I did say you could take some..."
Hou was still in the centre while liquid qi was absorbed into the Celestial Law Amplifying Physique and go through Yue's refining method. It turned from the colourless glowing liquid into a mass of galaxies.
As more was absorbed Yue took the qi and started to compress it, forming a huge orb of qi in Hou's navel area.
Then finally Yue said to Hou,
"That's more than enough now let's stop,"
Hou nodded mentally and opened his eyes. Only to see the surrounding whirlpool start to die down. The qi was swirling around him violently crashing.
He looked up and saw Lao Zu watching from above in the air,
"Sorry, I didn't mean to take so much"
Lao Zu waved it off,
"Don't worry, like I said it's nothing to me. I'm just surprised you can do all that, are you sure you're fine with all that qi?"
Hou flapped his wings, the vacuum they create making the liquid qi disappear, he jumped out of the pool onto the marble-like stone floor.
"I'm fine, in fact I'm feeling better than ever!"
