Elias arrived with no warning—just a call from Luca, voice sharp with panic, followed by a slammed door and heavy steps through the lobby. He found them huddled in Luca's private office: Eliana pale, Luca pacing, Liam quietly guarding the door like a soldier.
"I need a way to get her out," Luca said before Elias could even sit. "Their cars are outside. All six. They've figured out which windows face the design floor. This is insane."
Liam looked at Eliana, then to Luca. "We can take my car. It's in the basement garage. Covered entrance so the press won't be able to see us from the street."
Elias blinked. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah," Liam said firmly. "It's the best shot we've got right now."
Luca kissed him on the cheek. "You're a miracle in loafers. Go."
They slipped out like ghosts—Elias leading, Eliana and Liam behind, hoods pulled up, sunglasses on. The elevator to the basement opened with a groan.
And so did the ambush.
