CHAPTER 42
Butler Jones and Alice escorted her to a new bedroom that was bigger in bed, more spacious and grander around, even in furniture. Diandra turned to face them. Her posture was upright. Her voice was calm but earnest.
"I offer you both my sincerest apologies. Because of my actions, you were reprimanded. I acted without consideration, and for that, I am deeply regretful."
Alice waved a hand with a light laugh. "Hey, don't worry about it. It's not the end of the world, and we kinda already expected Sir Kael's reaction. Though it was really scary, his hotness always made it worth it."
Diandra blinked. "What?"
Jones elbowed her side. "Don't poison her mind with those things, Alice. It's clear that she didn't see our boss that way. And don't even let him hear you say that."
