Diandra lifted her head and gave him a small smile. Dr. Flamel thought that it was no wonder that Kael had taken her in. She was indeed a total beauty. A unique one, as she got fiery red hair. Too vibrant that it could be mistaken as a wig. And her eyes spoke of equal mischief and kindness.
"Please, Miss Diandra, take a seat, and let's have a look, shall we?" He said and went to the nightstand to place his medical bag and opened it to get out the things he needed.
Diandra sat back on the bed. Dr. Flamel knelt slightly to examine Diandra's side first. She loosened the robe, revealing the bruise on her side.
Flamel let out a low whistle. "I wonder how you managed to keep it from them until Kael called me."
Diandra, unbothered, remarked. "This is but a mark. I think I have known worse in the field for being a knight."
Alice scratched the back of her head as she smiled at the doctor, who glanced up at her. She shrugged at him.
