Zane's POV~
Silas, Rhys, and Cassian had stayed in my room all day, attending to my every need. They'd even skipped work because of me. They missed lunch, and now that it was dinner time, they still wanted to skip that too.
"You two can go. I'm fine now," I finally voiced out, after what felt like the hundredth time the kitchen maids came to invite them for dinner only to be turned away again. "You've been caring for me all day, but you need to eat and rest too."
I had even suggested they bring their food up here, but they refused.
They didn't want to mess up my room, which I understood. The Alphas were like golden retrievers at an all-you-can-eat buffet....no restraint, no limits. The kitchen staff couldn't possibly serve their usual mountain of food in my modest-sized room without making a mess. Not to mention, the Alphas themselves wouldn't be remotely comfortable.
