Gilbert accompanied Emma for a while, but quickly grew bored and walked toward a white chair by the beach.
A flamboyant young man with a messy mop of hair, dressed in a red suit and swinging his hips exaggeratedly, strutted toward him.
"Cousin, isn't that your ex?" Mike Walker's eyes were fixed on Claire Miler standing nearby. His peach blossom eyes sparkled as he smiled playfully.
Gilbert glanced indifferently at Claire, then turned to Mike. "Where's Jade? Why didn't you bring her?"
"Well… we're divorced," Mike replied, still staring at Claire's graceful figure. He swallowed hard. "She's stunning. Cousin, she's not yours anymore anyway. Mind if I give it a shot?"
He sashayed his way straight toward Claire.
Gilbert's gaze turned icy, a chill settling at the corner of his lips.
"Claire, it really is you," Mike said, his peach blossom eyes narrowing with a gleam as he stepped in front of her.
