With each day that passed the wedding was getting closer and closer. Ariel did her best to remind herself of that by doing the little things.
She repeated what would be her new name, Ariel Asher over and over in front of the mirror every morning. She had even taken it upon herself to just start that sending out invites. Casual ones, telling her distant childhood friends that she was getting married to a man named Tristan.
She had asked Tristan about it, and since he'd had no reservations other than for her to withhold his last name in case one of her old friends was not trustworthy. Ariel had gone ahead and done it.
The casual invites to people who were essentially strangers to her now. Had helped to strengthen Ariel's resolve somewhat. It made it even easier for her to accept what was going to happen. In a short period of time, she would go from being a miss to being a missus. What did not get easier, however, were Ariel's interactions with Peter.
