In the main office of Soto City battle colosseum, the director was at his desk.
Consumed in paperwork and profit calculations.
Sigh
"What a terrible day…" he sighed, just two hours ago, a team of seven soul masters had their bones almost broken.
He had to handle the compensation and hospital bills.
Bang
The door flew open as a bulky brown man with a Mohawk hairstyle golden hair stepped through arrogantly.
Beside him, a tall and slender lady, her tight fitting outfit clearly meant to attract gazes of the crowd. Her flowing white hair only seemed to heighten her youthful yet mature look.
"Director, you know the drill" The man spoke with arrogance.
"I can't do so! You have just cost the colosseum to owe even more money to the teams you fought!"
Jingle
A pouch filled with golden soul coins was placed onto the table. "Will this change your mind~" the lady said seductively.
The director hesitantly looked at the giant pouch of soul coins and looked back at the duo in front of him..
He was a righteous man, he swore. But who could resist money.
Sigh
With sigh of acceptance, he quickly searched through the next day's schedule.
"Your mext match will be against… the nine devils of shrek!" He said as he pulled out a scroll, inside contained a brief power assessment of all nine members.
"This is… to vague. And they have nine members." The man said, this wasn't what he wanted, he needed clear knowledge of them to win.
"They will be sending out only seven members. The remanining will remain in the combatant rest area" The director explained before taking back fhe scroll.
As the two finally left, the director looked at the coin pouch "Hopefully they won't suffer too much"
The next day, the duo were seen around the colosseum. They were observing.
Tang San and Xiao Wu's two VS two
They had even tried to seduce ZhuQing to force Dai MuBai to confront them.
Swing
"This is the resting area. Fighting is not permitted." A man burst through the door, his voice stern and authoritative.
Dai MuBai and Kuang Xi — the man with the golden hair Mohawk — broke apart immediately.
"Who are you" MuBai looked at the man.
"I am the manager of Soto City battle colosseum. If you guys really want to fight, I'm willing to tell you that you have a match tomorrow."
"If you wish to continue fighting, then both teams will be disqualified and black listed from the colosseum." He gave a warning.
His look stated that he was serious with his warning.
The next day.
"Guests and Audience! Welcome to the Battle Colosseum!" The manager who had stern face was now enthusiastically hosting the match, a complete 180 from yesterday.
"I'll be your host for today's most exciting and popular kind of matches, the Seven Member Team Battle!"
"There are three ways to lose. When a team surrenders, they lose. When a team loses fighting power, they lose. When a team gets off the stage, they lose."
The crowd was constantly cheering.
"Our first match is! The supreme team Savage Combat Team!" The members of Savage Combat stepped onto the stage in pride.
"With their seven win streak. Will they continue it? Or will they lose to their opponent? Give it up to The nine devils of shrek! The king of rookies!!" The manager announced the teams, getting the crowd more and more riled up!
Xiao Wu and Ying Xuan stood at the spectator room woth Grandmaster, Dean Flender and Teacher Zhao.
"Do you think they can win?" Zhao WuJi asked his colleagues.
"Hopefully, I betted your bed for it." Flender bluntly said.
"What?! Then where will I sleep if we lose"
"We'll all be sleeping in the streets if we don't get money."
"Xiao San, look. That girl is winking at you." Ma HongJun said.
The spider lady blew a kiss at Tang San "Asura Demon, I enjoyed your performance yesterday~ Don't disappoint me"
"Get ready! Start!!" The manager announced, officially starting the battle.
Dai MuBai didn't hesitate, charging and began wrestling with Kuang Xi.
"White Tiger Protection! White Tiger Golden Transformation!" MuBai began pushing him back.
"Don't try anything! Crazy Rushing Horn!" Kuang Xi almost immediately overpowered him.
"Oscar, supply me with soul power." Liu Yan didn't charge forward, instead. He placed his hand onto the floor.
Oscar nodded and began flowing his soul power into Liu Yan.
Fuuuuu
Ma HongJun attacked the sheep soul master with his flames.
The two sheep soul masters were simultaneously attacking him, rendering him unable to attack.
"These guys are so troublesome!" Ma HongJun dodged and dodged again.
"Fascinating. The Seven Treasure Glazed Pagoda really is the number one support martial soul. Too bad, she's too lowl level." Wishing plate soul master smirked, immediately casting a soul skill onto the sheep soul masters.
The shrek team was at disadvantage…
"Retaliation begins now." Liu Yan spoke, he had enough soul power now.
The stage rumbled as a crystal golem emerged from the ground, though the arena could not fit the upper half of it.
"What?!" Kuang Xi looked up in horror, the golem looked exactly like a Titan Giant Ape!
"Don't look away from your enemies!" Dai MuBai took opportunity, firing a light beam at Kuang Xi's chest.
"Agh!!" He was shot into the ground.
The golem reached for the wihsing plate soul master.
"Don't you dare!" Kuang Xi got up and charged at Liu Yan.
"Kuang Xi, be careful!" The spider lady yelled before using her webs, attemtping to pull Kuang Xi back.
Shaaa
She was intercepted by Tang San who smirked.
The golem changed its direction, grabbing onto Kuang Xi's leg and repeatedly slamming him into the ground.
Bang, Bang, Bang
The arena was filled with craters.
The brutality made some of the spectators to flinch and close their eyes.
"Leader!" The sheep soul masters ran to help.
"Light of defense!" The wishing playe soul master used a defense soul skill onto Kuang Xi.
Ma HongJun jumped up, creating a wall of fire.
"They've taken the leader. Just jump through it!" They yelled as they charged through the wall of flames.
"Wait! There could be an ambush!" The spider lady yelled out again but was still being chased by Tang San.
The four soul masters charged through, when Zhu ZhuQing appeared, inflicting as many wounds as she can on the four.
"Come back here!" The spider lady yelled as she pulled them back.
When the fire finally ceased, Kuang Xi was being presses down by the golem.
The spider lady was sweating bullets at this point. They had underestimated Diamond Dusk(Liu Yan), his creation soul skill was more powerful that it seemed.
"Twin Monkeys, protect wishing plate" the spider lady said as her hair began to float.
"Skynet!" Her hair suddenly flew up, spider web formations appeared in the sky, crashing down onto them.
"Deal with them quickly!" Liu Yan yelled as the golem picked up Kuang Xi, throwing him straight at Wishing plate.
The twin monkeys had no choice, they couldn't lose their only support. With their combined effort, they redirectwd Kuang Xi away from wishing plate, straight out of the arena.
Crash
"And Kuang Xi, the savage combat team's leader is out of bounds!" The manager announced.
The crowd cheered even louder.
Spider lady and Tang San began dueling, attempting to control each other's movements.
Everyone engaged in battle fiercely.
"Now! Began the next step!" Tang San yelled as everyone took out a sausage, biting down and replenishing their soul power.
"What?!" Spider lady exclaimed.
"Hold on… they're engaging us in one to one combat… that means!" She looked back and saw the twin monkeys charging forward.
"Idiots! Protect wishing plate!" She yelled again. But it was too late.
ZhuQing appeared before wishing plate, launching him off the arena.
"Mysterious light!" He yelled out before officially falling off the arena.
Suddenly, the reamining members of savage combat team began to scream, only spider lady remained unchanged.
"Let's finish this!" She commanded.
The remaining soul masters stood up, berserk mode was activated.
