Alison was standing in the middle of a crowd of people dressed in the same gray robes, each of them bearing a black rose on their chest. She had no idea how Maya managed to procure a set for her, but thanks to them no one questioned her presence there.
The stage was still empty, but there was some commotion behind it, suggesting that the event would start soon.
She didn't know where her partner in crime - or crime fighting to be precise - went, as they split almost an hour ago, but Alison was quite certain that Maya was lurking about, ready to jump out on her cue.
