New World, Kingdom of Rommel.

This was one of the World Government's allied nations, located in the first half of the New World and neighboring Dressrosa, ruled by the "Heavenly Night Demon" Donquixote Doflamingo.

On this day, a massive Warship House bearing the flag of Germa 66 suddenly appeared in the kingdom. The royal family of Rommel grew uneasy and hastily dispatched a minister to negotiate.

Undoubtedly, though also an ally of the World Government, most nations harbored fear, disdain, or even outright hatred for Germa 66—a notorious war organization.

"So that's how it is. His Majesty the King has said that since Prince Ichi has traveled so far, he invites you to stay at the palace..."

Upon learning that Germa merely intended to pass through and rest here, the somewhat trembling minister breathed a sigh of relief. However, Ichi directly declined the king's invitation, bringing only Ajin, Law, and a few others into the capital city of Rommel. They checked into a high-end inn and immediately began gathering information about the infamous "Rommel's Kamaitachi," who frequently wreaked havoc under the cover of night.

This time, his target was Cavendish!

The true reason for Ichi's interest lay not only in Cavendish's exceptional swordsmanship but also in the terrifying potential of his second personality.

Meanwhile, deep within the Marine Headquarters in the first half of the Grand Line...

"Admiral Sengoku, we've received word from the Kingdom of Rommel in the New World. Vinsmoke Ichigo of Germa 66 has inexplicably taken up residence there."

"The 'Demon Child'? After causing chaos on Forgotten Island, what could he be planning now?" In the Admiral's office, Fleet Admiral Buddha Sengoku frowned upon hearing the report.

According to intelligence from the Kingdom of Goaburun in the West Blue, someone capable of incapacitating tens of thousands of rebels with Haoshoku Haki had clearly mastered its use—not just awakened it, but fully harnessed its power.

This same individual had engaged Donquixote Doflamingo in battle, leveraging the advantage non-Devil Fruit users held over vast seas to send the Shichibukai known as the "Heavenly Night Demon" plummeting into the ocean. Such feats demonstrated strength far beyond his years.

This young man from Germa undoubtedly possessed frightening talent and potential, leaving even Sengoku wary.

However, Germa 66 was an ally of the World Government and not classified as pirates, making direct military action impossible.

"The Demon Child? Compared to Nico Robin, the survivor of Ohara, the title suits him well enough."

Sitting on a nearby couch, munching on snacks, a towering old man with bulging muscles straining against his suit, a scar across his left eye, and a head full of white hair chuckled aloud. "I heard from Kuzan recently. For the past month, Germa has practically turned Forgotten Island upside down. No one knows where they got their intel, but they're convinced there's a Devil Fruit hidden somewhere on that island—and they haven't given up yet!"

"This matter has already drawn CP's attention, but so far, no one knows exactly which Devil Fruit they're searching for." Sengoku nodded gravely. Any Devil Fruit that prompted such a large-scale disturbance from Germa was undoubtedly extraordinary.

"Still, compared to that, I'm more concerned about what kind of changes this prodigy might bring to Germa 66. That organization once controlled the entire North Blue through sheer force—an evil group indeed."

Sighing deeply, Sengoku's expression darkened as he continued, "Based on CP's ongoing investigations, combined with the events surrounding the current leader of Germa—'Strange Bird' Vinsmoke Judge—the massacre of four kingdoms—it's speculated that Germa 66 hasn't abandoned its desire for revenge against the nations of the North Blue. If this brat grows stronger, Germa may once again pose a threat to the World Government's rule…"

Unlike other powers, Germa had always been a "Kingdom of Science," wielding astonishing technological prowess. Should they harbor ambitions to dominate the North Blue again, and should Vinsmoke Ichigo reach his full potential, the dangers posed by Germa under his leadership would be immense.

After decades of observing people, Sengoku firmly believed that those born with Haoshoku Haki were never content to remain idle.

"Haha... Even if that happens, it'll be a headache for those families within the World Government to deal with."

Finishing off his snacks, Hero Garp stood up, laughing carelessly. "The Navy's greatest enemies are still the pirates of the New World. What are you worrying about as Fleet Admiral?"

"Let's hope so."

*Outside the Forests of Rommel's Capital*

A handsome blond-haired man dressed in flamboyant attire lazily practiced his sword techniques.

Yes, lazily—or perhaps absentmindedly. He wasn't serious at all, let alone fully committed.

"Tch, damn old man, refusing to teach me those flashy and powerful sword techniques! With my outstanding talent, I'd naturally become a great swordsman without needing to practice these boring basics every day..."

The golden-haired youth, whose looks inspired envy, swung his sword at wooden stakes while grumbling angrily. Lost in his fantasies, he imagined himself standing amidst flashing cameras, surrounded by reporters clamoring for interviews.

"Sign here, please, Lord Cavendish!"

"Great Star Cavendish, I'm a reporter from the World Economic News. Could I do a feature on you?"

"Sorry, but I can only spare ten minutes."

"Lord Cavendish, I want to marry you! Hahaha!"

Cavendish stood rooted in place, eyes closed, grinning foolishly at the imaginary adoration.

Both Law and Ajin couldn't help but twitch their lips, utterly speechless.

To be this self-absorbed... truly unmatched.

"Master, is someone like this really suitable?" Burn asked Ichi helplessly.

"He isn't," Ichi shrugged meaningfully. "But the monster sleeping inside him? Perhaps."

Cavendish's natural talent might indeed be impressive, but his narcissistic and arrogant personality aside, his inherent laziness and lack of determination to grow stronger were fatal flaws.

"Who's there?"

Interrupted mid-fantasy, Cavendish snapped out of his reverie and turned sharply toward several unfamiliar figures who had silently appeared among the trees. His pupils contracted sharply.

"A demon of Germa?"

His gaze locked onto the red-clad figure in their midst. Recognizing him instantly from recent headlines, Cavendish felt a surge of envy, jealousy, and resentment toward the younger man who constantly stole the spotlight.
