Ariel Morris looked out at the pitch-black night sky and let Arlo Seys rest in her house. Arlo, with injuries on his face, didn't feel like facing his family and agreed to stay.
Ariel busied herself in the kitchen, making dinner for the two of them. Arlo was at the desk doing his homework, his eyes occasionally, intentionally or unintentionally, following the slim figure in the little kitchen outside, his heart strummed like a softly plucked string, indescribably beautiful.
What about her family? How could they trust her to rent a place and live outside alone?
From birth, he had always been the pampered young master of the Seys Family. After school each day, a lavish meal awaited him at home, with no need to lift a finger. But she, even younger than him by a year, had moved out to live alone, and had to cook her own meals after school. If he hadn't visited today, he wouldn't have known such small, simple houses existed.
