The door to the car opened up and a stunning young lady, who had long red hair and was wearing a red gown and red heels, got out of the driver's seat and rushed to where Paola squatted.
"Piper". As her sweet voice called Piper's name, she squatted beside Paola, with her hand gently placed on Paola's back.
'I recognize this voice from Piper's memories'. Paola thought, before she lifted her head and slowly turned to the woman. "Mrs Georgia?".
Mrs Georgia frowned because of what Paola called her.
"What do you mean by that, Piper Graham? Have you decided not to be my daughter anymore? Have you finally grown distant from your own mother? But it hasn't been years since you came to Flancholia city". She said as she helped Paola up.
There was a sad expression on her face. She didn't like the way her own daughter had called her by her name. That felt so distant, and it took her by surprise. The daughter she knew would never address her by her name.
