"Grandpa, don't exclaim too much. You might hurt yourself". Paola said to him as she picked up the plastic bags (leather) that were on the ground.
"Come on, grandpa. Let's return home so that you can eat". She added. She could have held his arm and assisted his movement, but with the plastic bags in her hands, she couldn't do that because they were heavy.
'So was she really serious about cooking?'. Grandpa Dario thought to himself as he stared at Paola who was in front of him.
He cleared his throat and had to walk faster after Paola stopped walking, turned around and looked at him, while expecting him to keep up with her.
"Give me one of the plastic bags. Let me carry it for you".
"No, grandpa. I won't do that". Paola did not even give it a single thought and directly refused grandpa Dario's help.
Grandpa Dario chuckled because of what his granddaughter did.
Sooner than expected, his mind returned to his own daughter.
