Funeral ch44.
It was officially the day of the funeral Krow got everything together.They decided to do an open ended casket for her where they would bury the casket after everybody saw it and would lower it in the ground. There ended up only being around 20 or so people there. More than anything Krow found it hard to hold himself together this was supposed to be the only place the only time he could actually cry right? Where he literally saw this casket in front of him. Yet more than anything he just wondered how to keep it together.
As he looked around he saw Melissa's mother crying and his sister and her kids crying too even some of the other men were crying at this point yet more then anything Krow couldn't hold himself together either it was the harsh reality somebody so close to him was dead now. How could he actually continue on and feel alive through it all he wasn't sure at all. He thought all the death and despair was in the past yet here he was with his fist clenched and another dead body lifeless face in front of him. Cindy holding his hand while trying to hold back the tears that were falling. Everyone was just crying and then the pastor said the words for the casket before they lowered her body into the ground.
This was it. Krow thought this was the truth she was gone. Krow didn't know where to go when he needed help. As much as he didn't want to admit it she was the only one that kept him mentally okay in his mind she was his biggest help. Though he got through it all. Through the words of the pastor praying for the dead. Through the crying of those around him. He held back his own emotions and just kept going kept trying perhaps for other or perhaps for himself. Then the diggers put the dirt back on top of the body as everybody slowly stopped crying and was going to meet in the banquet hall for food afterwords.
"Hey I'm going to go ahead and take the kids to the banquet okay?" Said Cindy grabbing her kids and leaving Krow there." Yeah…okay" said Krow. Krow couldn't hold it in anymore he walked back to his car and got in just for the tears to start falling down. "Fuck Melissa why did it have to be you it should've just been me I'm such a fuck up completely I can't keep going like this I need help I need something" Krow thought profusely in his mind. Although exterior wise he was as hard as a nut cracker deep down he was an extremely sensitive man. With a troubled past of a lack of love. Losing a loved one is always a truly sad thing to go through.After getting all the tears out and the snot and wiping it off he got out of his car. Still dizzy maybe from the lack of food or sleep or the massive amounts of stress he felt like he was under. He wasn't sure if he saw it right.
He saw people from the agency standing at the corner. They were wearing black suits. He wasn't exactly sure at first if that was actually them but the more he looked the more he realized it was actually them and that his mind was indeed not playing tricks on him this time. Suddenly anger swelled up inside him. He couldn't go to the banquet right now. He couldn't bother eating. He needed awnsers and he needed them immediately that's what he needed. He needed a way to release this anger that's tipping over to boiling point. Like a pimple about to pop krows patience had been growing thin. especially thin like a small delicate piece of ice on a roller blade. This was the final straw it finally cracked.
The men walked up to Krow and started talking. Perhaps the words had not truly reached Krow as he didn't fully understand what they were saying but he followed them anyway. He knew what he needed to do no matter what he needed revenge and awnsers.
