At the mere mention of that name, his jaw clenched, and his eyes darkened like a brewing storm. Something dangerously close to bitterness in his features as he turned toward me in another slap.
Rubbing his arms together frightfully.
"You're pathetic. You think you can blackmail someone just because you feel like it?" he roared, his fierce voice shaking the entire space.
A low tear slipped to my chest at his words and the darkness in his eyes. But I wasn't going to settle on them. I was so certain that no matter what, I was going to prove my innocence this time.
"You just have to believe…" I trailed off at his loud outburst.
"Oh, shut that mouth of yours, liar. What proof do you have?" he shot back, turning to leave but stopped in his tracks.
"For causing such a dent to my personality, I would make sure you rot here in jail, at least for a reasonable period of time," he snapped as he moved over to the gates, but stopped when he caught sight of Mum and Dad.
