Louisa didn't come to them anymore, and Ryan didn't seem to circle back to that video. Claude could only secretly watch the other two people in the room with him. When it was time to leave, he almost dashed out of the door. However, he had to clean up with Ryan. Louisa collected the files and met with her boyfriend outside to help her with the weight.
The door closed, and the scooting chairs somewhat stopped. Claude, who was tidying up the long side cabinets, looked over his shoulder. He saw Ryan run to his bag and swiped the tablet from under it. The senior pushed his glasses up and walked to Claude.
"Lavallee… can we talk about this? Len never told me anything." Ryan glanced at Claude. "The police came to ask about Romer Lang. We can only tell them about our recently concluded investigation."
