Soft stroking on his head lulled Claude to sleep. Len had just finished wiping him from the attack earlier. He also had to clean his shoulder, which Claude bit just as he said he would. Claude had not been bathing in the moon for a long time, and he was also deprived of the moon energy bouncing off other wolves. Neither did he have an Alpha to bless him.
Len couldn't stop Claude from wanting blood every time he got hurt.
The Alpha lay on his bed, side-facing his sleeping mate. He had his phone in his other hand, reading through the messages sent by someone. In fact, the person kept messaging him so much that the screen was filled with the other person's chat bubbles. Right now, it wasn't even stopping.
"…how long am I going to be Alpha?" Len hummed. His hold on the phone weakened, and he dropped it on Claude's pillow. It even slid down and got stuck against the headboard. "My hands are aching."
