Louisa frowned and grabbed one of the eyes, feeling the remnant energy within it. The blood scent was enough for her to know that it belonged to a human. However, she picked up on a few flashes of the owner's last few memories.
"Louisa, why are you touching that?" One of her roommates almost screeched. She looked at the curtains swaying from a draft. "Shit, someone broke into our room. Are they trying to threaten us?"
"No…" Louisa sighed and tossed the human eye back to the floor. She didn't even care if she covered half her face with the bloodied hand. "This is Valentin Dietrich's answer. What a punk."
"What answer?" Another girl settled on her bed, ignoring the two others who went to fetch tools to dispose of the eyes. She glanced at the eyes that looked delicious now that they were deemed free to be gotten rid of. However, she didn't want to eat something she would have to explain. "Did you give him a riddle or something?"
