Chapter 92 - Return to Simplicity

Walking through the bustling streets, surrounded by the noisy crowd, Raiden felt an inner emptiness, out of sync with his surroundings.

Raiden mind was filled with images of Diana, her every smile and gesture, every moment of her, truly captivating.

"Damn, what's wrong with me" Raiden pressed his fingers against his forehead, trying to clear his mind. With each step, his inner desires grew stronger.

Raiden could clearly feel his emotions, the human side of him becoming increasingly powerful. As these emotional aspects grew, he needed to learn to control them.

But... this was not a good time. Raiden helplessly looked down at the tent in his pants... damn it.

"Boss, one ice cream, uh, let's go with this Mexican Savina pepper and whiskey 'Restless' ice cream. Oh, I like the name" Raiden walked into an ice cream shop, sat on a chair, glanced at the menu for a while, then pointed to an ice cream with ingredients that looked quite sensual smiling as he spoke.

The flavor of this ice cream and its name perfectly matched Raiden current state—restless.

"Alright, sir, but are you sure?" The waiter glanced back at the menu, then hesitated, as he really didn't expect anyone to order this flavor.

After all, besides its strange, unfriendly and even somewhat despairing taste this ice cream also came with a hefty price tag of $49.9, not an easy price to accept.

Whoever thought of adding this "monster" to the menu in the past, with its high price and a spiciness that could be deadly if not handled right.

At least in the waiter two-year memory of working at this ice cream shop, this thing hadn't sold more than ten sticks, and two of those customers ended up in the hospital after eating it.

"Yes, I'm sure" Raiden nodded.

After getting Raiden confirmation, the waiter nodded and started preparing the ice cream.

Soon, the waiter efficiently brought Raiden ice cream over, its plain appearance seemingly no different from ordinary ice cream.

But when Raiden took the first bite, the pure white cream gave him an almost explosive sensation, the high alcohol content and the damn Mexican pepper mixed together, FUCK, what the hell is this pepper!

In Raiden mouth, it was a collision of ice and fire, a fusion of two extremes, a sublimation of spiciness.

"Bang!"

Raiden suddenly slammed his fist on the table, drawing the attention of those around him, and the waiter quickly approached, his eyes filled with concern.

"Nice!" Raiden suddenly gave the waiter a thumbs up, then pulled out his wallet to pay, the extreme restlessness not allowing him to wait until he finished eating to settle the bill.

Watching Raiden pull out fifty-five dollars from his wallet to pay, the waiter couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, the thing he was worried about didn't happen.

Among the money Raiden paid, five dollars was a tip.

Actually, tipping isn't necessary in such a shop, but this particular ice cream really suited Raiden taste, even though Mexican peppers would never appear on Raiden menu again.

After taking the money, the waiter gave Raiden a friendly smile and left.

After the waiter departed, a girl from the next table pulled another girl over and they sat down opposite Raiden.

Both girls were very pretty, probably in their twenties, with hot figures and perfect outfits!

Raiden took a bite of his ice cream and asked. "What can I do for you two beautiful ladies?"

"Sir, you can actually eat such spicy ice cream, it's so sexy. My ex-boyfriend just tasted a small piece and he was down" one of the girls boldly said, sticking out her tongue to lick her own ice cream.

"Oh? I feel like you're much spicier than this ice cream" Raiden teased her.

The other girl came around and leaned on Raiden shoulder, taking a lick of his ice cream. Instantly, her face turned red at a visible speed, and she slumped softly onto Raiden.

"It seems your friend needs some rest?" Raiden said, supporting the girl on his shoulder.

"Yes," the girl sitting opposite Raiden winked at him.

After Raiden and the two girls left in a taxi, a teenage boy at another table raised his hand and called to the waiter.

"Hey, waiter, I want one of those spicy ice creams too!"

The waiter walked over and smiled at the boy, saying.

"Silly boy, if you can pull out a wallet worth a hundred thousand dollars when you pay, even if you don't want that ice cream, you're already hot enough."

...

Raiden had a perfect night everything else was quite good.

When Raiden woke up with a satisfied look, the two girls had already left.

They were smart girls, weren't they? Only a note with two phone numbers was left on Raiden table.

Raiden walked to the window, pulled open the curtains, and the bright sunlight shone on him. The height of over five hundred meters made Raiden feel like the sun was within reach.

It was the start of a beautiful day. Suddenly, Raiden turned around sharply as if he thought of something.

"No! They actually took a bag of my waffles" Raiden complained, looking at the only bag of waffles left on the table.

"Serana, play some music" Raiden said, picking up the waffles and heading towards the kitchen.

A light piece of music started playing, the melody was graceful and melodious.

"Serana, what's the name of this piece?" Raiden heated a cup of milk, placed the opened waffles and milk on a plate, and walked towards the living room.

"Sir, this is called 'Snowdreams,' composed by Bandari" Selena replied.

Raiden sat by the window in the living room, drinking milk and eating waffles, looking down at the busy people on the street, nodding and saying.

"Not bad."

After breakfast, Raiden, now idle, once again found himself lost in confusion. Within him, his emotions were growing richer yet increasingly chaotic.

Raiden needed to learn how to control these emotions, and while he was at it, he also needed to find something to divert his attention.

Otherwise, he couldn't guarantee that these pent-up emotions wouldn't lead to some trouble. And right now, Raiden needed to lay low for a few days, especially since they had already been warned by Pepper.

Thinking about the various religions on the streets, the feeling of being worshipped as a deity was indeed quite pleasant.

Moreover, he himself could be considered a deity, couldn't he?

Raiden shook his head, deep in thought, and moved to the window.

Standing at a height that overlooked everything, he gazed at the scenery outside.

Suddenly, Raiden turned and headed towards the kitchen.

When he stood in front of the kitchen window and looked outside, it seemed he had found a rather nice spot.
