Just like any other day, Peter immediately does his morning routine when he opens his eyes. However, he decided to take it slow today and enjoy his morning coffee. He is thinking of his next move.
He wants to explore the surface and wonder if he should add more specializations to expand his already impressive tech tree. What he already has is enough, but he wants to create something that can truly protect him from all kinds of things on the surface.
After thinking for a few seconds, he decides to put two charges to [Exosuit], two charges to [Environmental Navigation], two charges to [Energy Weapons], two charges to [Hazard Containment], and two charges to [Logistics Systems].
Peter takes a deep breath as a rush of knowledge enters his brain. He smiles a little and takes a sip of his coffee. He prepares his breakfast and takes it to his lab. He puts down the food and sits in front of his computer.
He needs to create a blueprint for his new suit. Peter thinks for a second about what kind of armor he needs to make and decides to take inspiration from the Iron Man suit.
Using his [Nanotechnology] specialization, he decides to create an armor that can self-heal. Not only that, he also creates platings that cover his vital organs. Other than that, an emergency energy barrier will be deployed when there is a breach within the armor. Its function is to get time for the Nanite to heal the armor.
Of course, Peter makes sure the armor can be used in all kinds of harsh environments. It can go through radiation, toxic gases, spores, mutagens, acid rain, and chemical clouds without a problem. It contains a Thermal Regulation system that enables it to go through intense cold or intense heat without a problem. Lastly, it is able to let him survive in space as long as the oxygen-producing machine is working as intended.
The armor will be heavy because of the techs, but not too heavy for him to move around. It is light enough for the thruster he put on the armor to make it fly for a few seconds.
He also adds other things to let him move around the surface more easily, like Step Dampeners, Environmental Map, Scanner, and Grappling Hook.
Peter also makes sure to create a storage unit behind the armor to contain an all-purpose drone and all kinds of tools he can use to make something on the fly.
As for weapons, he creates an energy pulse that can come out of his palms. Unlike Iron Man's suit, this pulse cannot be used to propel him into the air, at least not in this version of the armor. He will upgrade it in the future.
He is not done, however. He also creates a Plasma Wrist Lance for a lethal take-down for short-to-medium range combat. Unlike the Energy Pulse, where he can switch between non-lethal and lethal functions, this one is always lethal because it can punch through a lot of things.
He also added an EMP grenade launcher on top of the storage unit behind his armor to send an EMP grenade to disable any electronics within range. Peter needs to be careful because it can also disable his things.
He also creates an advanced computer inside his armor that contains a HUD that lets him see any heat source and even be able to activate all the security systems in case of any ambush happening.
The last one is the Medical System. It contains a Nanite Healing Injector that can heal any wound. It can easily heal any light wound or seal deeper wounds without any problem. The second function is Detox Nanites Injector, which cleans any negative things entering his body.
To power this armor, he uses the Core he made to power the entire armor. It should last for 72 hours of maximum use before shutting down. It also contains a Solar-Harvesting Microcell around it to harvest solar energy when the sun is visible once again.
The Nuclear Cloud will cover the planet, after all.
With the blueprint in hand, Peter orders the fabricator to make all the necessary things and start tinkering.

Peter wipes the sweat off his forehead and looks at the suit in front of him. It is green in color and stands two meters tall, ten centimeters taller than him. He wants the one that is only a few centimeters taller, but he cannot fit all the techs he wants inside the armor without adjusting the size a bit more, even with his [Miniaturization] specialization.
"I really need to increase that one."
Peter mutters a little as plans form inside his head. He shakes his head and enters the armor. When he enters the armor, it closes on its own, and he watches the HUD come to life.
"All systems online. Thunder Power Armor is ready for action."
Peter smiles a little when he hears the VI inside his armor say that. He moves away from the charging platform and moves around in his armor. He already tested it, but this is a different matter because this is a finished product.
He opens his arm at the wall and watches as his Energy Pulse charges inside his palm. However, he immediately canceled it because even though he made it non-lethal, it can still break bones when hit.
He doesn't want it to break his lab.
He shakes his head and calls the Forgewing Drone using the computer inside the armor. The drone flies toward him and follows him to the lift. Peter takes a deep breath and presses the button that will take him to the surface.
"Huuuu"
Peter takes a deep breath and releases them. This will be the first time he truly tests his tech with his own life on the line. He knows his tech is working as he wishes it is, but this will be the first time he tests it while he is inside his own creation.
He is so nervous that he feels the lift taking too long to reach the surface.
After waiting for what feels like hours, the door opens up, and he can see the world on the surface. There is only one word he can give to what he sees with his eyes.
Hopeless.
