Chapter 21 - System Punishment (1)

Dominic approached the dark woods. Lillian and Danielle had directed him here. He did not why it had to be deep in the woods. Was this where they had their interrogations?

He sighed. The weight of Seal quivering under his shoulders. He had an odd feeling about this. If the interrogation room was this far, then why was it so? Was it to ensure more protection just in case the culprit became wild and left their custody? But that was not a good reason.

He walked on. He could not go against the orders. Not like he really knew this place. He had only spent about twenty hours here. He walked casually. The big frame of Seal lingered on his shoulders.

Suddenly he saw a house far ahead. He smiled lightly. Finally, this burden was going to taken off. He was to know how the Stolks led the attack into the city.

He walked on. His steps were steady. He boots crunched the leaves underneath it. His weight and that of Seal dug deep footprints in the soil. He was about knocking at the door when he felt a great rush of wind from behind him.

[Side Quest Failed.]

[Punishment: Disposal in the Lone Forest for 20 minutes.]

[Initializing New Environment.]

Dominic stared behind him to check what was behind him. His vision blurred as a great surge of wind drew dust and particles into the atmosphere.

"Oh! Damn it!! Now a punishment for not engaging in sex? Such a crazy system." Dominic muttered under his breath.

Suddenly, the wind drew a circle into him. His blurred totally and he shut them close to protect his eye sight. He struggled his balance in the mist of the great wind.

Then a cool sind blew against his legs. He felt a cold whimper on his legs. He opened his eyes and gasped in shock. He was before a snow filled forest.

"What the..." he muttered in shock. He was not shocked that he had just been transmigrated but he was shocked at the fact that the system had the power to harness different environments. He blinked in shock.

"So what is my punishment here? Nothing seems to be here." Dominic muttered.

[That is the very point. System would be initializing player soon.]

Dominic stared at the system interface for some seconds.

Was this some kind of game or what? Player?! Then he remembered being transmigrated into a game. Now everything matched very correctly.

"Now that explains why the system had acess to this. This system is working within the jurisdiction of the game environments. With that, this should also be an existing place here." Dominic said and stood in fighting pose. His fists clutched in battle ready pose.

"System initialize my weapon."

[Sorry but as a punishment Host cannot use weapon.]

Dominic scuffed lightly and grinned widely. This system wanted to kill him. Well he wasn't going to die, not without putting a good fight.

"Okay. Let's see our opponent." Dominic muttered. Suddenly a cloak of dust blinded before him and he was pushed backwards by the insane force. He struggled to keep up but the wind was extremely strong and great. He held a large tree so as to get rocketed away.

"Damn!! What sort of aura is this?" Dominic cursed under his struggling breath.

Then the wind seized suddenly and his vision returned and shaped to see a tall being standing in between the gap. He gasped in shock. The being looked more dangerous than the Stolks or the Iron Fisted Monkeys.

"What the fuck is this?" Dominic muttered.

[Lekars. They are beings that the ability to control the atmosphere and gravity. ]

[Caution: A head on attack might be stupid against this beings.]

Dominic gulped. Damn! The system did value him fucking. If only he had fucked Kreper, he wouldn't be in this mess. He scratched his head and stared at it. This was going to be really tough.

He dived off at it and bent low to scratch the soil in his movement. On reaching the Lekar, he swiped the great surge of dust at it. That was going to blind it for some time while he tried to access the weak point. But that was not the case.

The eyes of the dreaded Lekar turned sharply to stare at him as he darted around. Suddenly the dust seemed to pause. Each grain of snow hung in the air and a mix of tension and fear flooded the air.

Dominic stared at the Lekar in horror. It was controlling gravity just as the system had said. His eyes darted in horror. What was he going to do to defeat this being?

He tried to move backwards but it waw then that he noticed that he too was under the control of the Lekar. He gulped in shock.

The Lekar waved off a large portion of the misty for that was created by Dominic and they shifted like holograms in air. He stepped forward and pulled Dominic to himself. Dominic squinted in horror.

"What the fuck is this?" Dominic muttered. There was no possible way he could defeat this thing if it control and manipulate the atmosphere and gravity. It could literally control him.

The Lekar smashed him against the ground. Dominic's right arm crushed against the ground and a slight sprain occurred in his veins. He tried to lift his head up but the Lekar shot him against the trees.

He crashed against several trees and suddenly his speed increased greatly. The Lekar had dropped gravity. Everything was back to normal. He crashed against the trees, breaking them upon contact.

"Damn it! I never thought gravity had so much play in speed and force." he muttered in pain as he struck the last tree with his reduced velocity.

The Lekar then roared in anger and proclaimed power. He then raced towards Dominic with extreme speed.

"Come on. It has that such speed? Not so suprised, but I can say it is due to his ability to harness gravity. Gravity, force and speed seem to be working together." Dominic muttered.

"Just how to defeat this thing." Dominic said and instantly levitated high above the ground. The attack of the Lekar struck nothing but thin air. Dominic smiled at his increased speed.

If he was to defeat this thing, he had to clarify and build himself on two things– His speed. With a great speed he could be faster than the force of attraction by gravity. Then he would improve his agility. He needed sharp and precise reflexes to be able to dodge certain vital attacks.

He clenched his fists tightly and muttered something under his breath. Then the system interface appeared before him.
