Dominic stared at the Lekar. His eyes switched in each instant. For a moment, the Lekar was not attacking. He stared at it and smiled. Then he felt his blood drop from his head. He sighed and touched his fore head. His hands went bloodied instantly.
"Damn! My blood. This is thing really knocking me off. I have to defeat this thing. At least I could gain more EXP. Damn! If I fail to defeat this, I am pretty sure I can't face the MC in that case." Dominic muttered to himself .
He cleaned his forehead with his hands and looked at the Lekar. It stared at him intently. Its black fur was hardened in an instant and the tough legs drew into a rampage battle stance.
The Lekar dived off first. Dominic smiled q and waved his arm. He was now going to test his stats. He had increased his speed, strength and agility. At least these criteria would help him defeat the Lekar.
He dived off at full speed. To his shock, he was extremely fast. He moved past the attacking hands of the Lekar. The arm of the Lekar missed his head but he used that as an opportunity to stick in his left fist.
The punch connected and it sent flying upwards into the sky. The movement was fast and it moved higher than he had anticipated. With his increased strength, he was pulling off more feats than he would have naturally.
The Lekar flew in the air while Dominic struggled to get a good position. He stopped in an instant and watched the Lekar levitate high above the ground . He smiled intently and tightened his fists, ready for another jab.
But the Lekar didn't conduct down. It hung in the air. Dominic stared in shock. It was literally standing in air. A terrifying smile crossed its lips. Dominic could see from up, the dreaded smile on its face.
"Damn you! I am coming for you!" Dominic cursed and twisted his left leg. Relying all his weight of the left leg, he tightened his fists and raised his right hand slightly.
In a push, he rocketed upwards as he pushed in all his muscles to contract and contrast. He moved upwards and with his great agility he was already in the air. His eyes came level with the Lekar.
Dominic grinned and punched it hard with all his might. The punch connected and for a while his hand stuck to the face of the Lekar. He smiled widely. He was finally getting hold of this.
But his expression changed instantly when he noticed the Lekar's left hand driving towards him. He shifted backwards but the speed was faster than his agility. The punch connected and in a second, they were both landing brutally on the ground again.
Dominic smashed his head against a stone and blood pressured through his open veins. Blood spouted out quickly. His eyes went numb but he struggled to hold on. He had to just defeat this.
"OK. Fuck with all these, I have to defeat you!!" Dominic muttered on anger and pain.
He dived off again. This time his speed was far greater than before. He sighed. "My...my...my speed is a little bit faster than before. What the heck?" Dominic cursed as he ran on.
He slammed right into the Lekar. With his right hand he crushed against its left arm,, ripping it apart with great ease. His left knee also struck the stomach of the Lekar at the same time.
The impact caused the Lekar to stumble backwards. The Lekar smashed brutally against the trees. Blood spouted from the mouth of the Lekar.
The impact of the slam sent waves of string wind hitting against Dominic but he stood firm. Somewhere at the back of his subconscious, he took this punishment as something else– a measure to test his strength to see if he was ready for his main reason for his transmigrated into this game.
"Well I am holding off far longer than I expected ust seems to be too powerful. I wonder what sort of being this is. If this kind of being were to face us we would be dead in an instant. The Ghost Force do not have enough man power to defeat something of this caliber." Dominic muttered under his breath.
He felt more secure now. The system's punishment was kind of bizarre but he had to admit that he loved it. It would persuade him into becoming a better fighter. He would become stronger of he had more quests to fulfil. Now he understood what the system meant by him not being able to level up by mere fucking. He needed brutal strength to defeat the strange beings in this world but there would battles in the future.
"It would be rather crazy if I face this thing further. My body us tearing apart. I need rest. But wait didn't the system say twenty minutes?" Dominic muttered as he felt a string of hope if surviving.
He pulled his system interface but before he could reach out to see the hologram, a whack sent him spinning in the air repeatedly before skidding across the cold snow.
He rolled on and struggled to stop himself from any further movement buy he got himself smashing against a giant tree. Only then did he stop for a moment.
His head bashed against the hard and large frame of the tree. His blood spouted freely. A great mount of it spilled on the tree and his eyes were leaking out blood. His hands were instinctively wounded. Raw blood poured steadily from his open wounds. He struggled to make an image out of his sight but all he could see were blurred images.
The Lekar walked slowly but steadily towards him. Its footsteps were steadily decisive. Not just was it walking slow but it was calculating the movement of Dominic's own body. Then suddenly it stopped. For a moment everything seemed to go wild.
Dominic tried to stare at the hologram. All his mind could fix on was how much longer he was to stay in this battle. He struggled to raise his arms but they felt weak and useless.
[Time Remaining: 00: 34 seconds]
Dominic sighed. Just about half a minute. He just had to endure a little but longer. He wouldn't get so much hurt within then. But was that so?
The Lekar pushed its right leg backwards and balancing its weight proportionally among its two legs, it clenched his fists.
In a moment, it rocketed with great velocity towards Dominic. It moved faster than the light that made physicist proud. It moved faster than anything Dominic has ever seen.
It slammed into Dominic just as he had tried to get up and run. The speed was too much for him to handle. The impact of the contact sent Dominic skidding in the air and then spitting out violent blood.
He was about landing on the ground when a great surge of wind circled him. He began to float in air. His eyes met that of the Lekar who stood firm on the snowy ground.
The wind drew into him faster and deeper now. His vision was blurred again and he could barely see what was I'm front of him.
Then he felt a kind of warm air blow around him. He was stunned for a moment but then he looked around and found himself in the woods with Seal on his shoulder.
He immediately threw Seal to the floor. His arms ached and he collapsed on the floor. He looked at his hands and noticed his blood. He was going to ask for first aid but then...
'BOOOOM!!!'
The wall broke out and what Dominic saw sent shivers down his spine. He struggled to stand but he collapsed on his weak knees. He found it hard to believe that he was seeing this.
"What the fuck is this? Damn! Such misery." Dominic muttered in his weak state. His eyes darted in horror and fear. His troubles were only but beginning.
