As she walked down the hospital hallway, she spotted Clarissa coming from the other end. When their eyes met, Clarissa waved with a faint smile as they approached each other.
In a few steps, the two sisters were closer, and Clarissa spoke first.
"Good morning, Sis."
"Good morning, Clarissa. How was your night?"
"I barely slept last night, worrying about Dad's condition," Clarissa answered, and Selina nodded in understanding.
Noticing the dark circles beneath Selina's eyes and the slight swelling, Clarissa continued, "I can see you didn't get enough rest."
"I'm fine," Selina replied wearily.
A brief silence fell, and when Selina remembered something crucial, she added.
"Clarissa, you must not share Father's hospital location with anyone, not even someone close." Selina warned in a soft tone, hoping this would do without Clarissa asking too much.
Clarissa looked confused. "Why?"
