The car Bulma brought was clearly a custom job, about the size of a small house.
The front was the driver's cockpit; the middle was a passenger compartment with sofas on either side, where pulling a curtain created a private mini-living room, letting Nezuko, a demon, move around freely; the back housed a compartment packed with various scientific equipment, and a skylight at the rear collected sunlight.
Once onboard, Bulma got her wish to meet Nezuko. After playing with the clueless little demon girl for a bit, she slipped into the back room to start her spectral analysis.
The driver was… Uchiha Hikari's Kage Bunshin.
In her previous life, Hikari had earned a driver's license. While 21st-century Earth cars differed slightly from those in the *Dragon Ball* world, they were close enough.
"Tanjiro, we're heading southeast next, right?"
"Uh, yeah…"
Even now, Tanjiro was completely baffled, still trying to wrap his head around how Hikari had gone from one person to two. The car's sudden lurch startled him, and he gripped the seat cushion tightly, terrified of being flung out.
Equally confused was Tanjiro's crow.
To be precise, his "Kasugai Crow."
The *Demon Slayer* world's power levels weren't high, but it had some fascinating animals, like these messenger birds assigned to every Demon Slayer who passed the entrance exam. They were highly intelligent, and most could communicate with humans seamlessly, a bit like the summoning beasts in the *Naruto* world.
In theory, they'd know how to contact Demon Slayer Corps headquarters.
But Hikari's main focus was on hunting demons, so she didn't bother chatting much with Tanjiro's Kasugai Crow. Instead, her real body meditated to train her "ki" while her shadow clone drove the car at full speed.
Halfway there, they ran into a blond teenager, Agatsuma Zenitsu, desperately begging a girl to marry him.
After recognizing Tanjiro as a Demon Slayer, Zenitsu hopped aboard.
"…Man, does the Demon Slayer Corps have *this* kind of budget now? Giving members their own fancy transport? Is this thing a type of train? It doesn't even need tracks, and it's crazy fast!"
"Oh, and I noticed earlier—the lady driving, is she your twin sister, Uchiha-san? You two look *exactly* alike!"
Inside the compartment, Zenitsu started yammering excitedly.
To be fair, the guy had seen some things—he wasn't like Tanjiro, who'd mistaken a train for a "land god." But faced with tech beyond the *Demon Slayer* world's understanding, keeping his cool was tough.
To his "twin" question, Hikari's real body let out a soft breath, settling back onto the seat from her floating meditation.
"This thing's called a car. They probably don't exist in Japan yet… Think of it as a shorter train if you want. As for me, the lady driving, and the blue-haired girl in the back room, we're not Demon Slayer Corps members. We're just tagging along as Tanjiro's friends."
"Friends?"
Zenitsu's eyes widened, staring at Tanjiro with a mix of envy and resentment. "We're both new to the Demon Slayer Corps, so how come *you* get to travel with all these gorgeous ladies?! And you've got a super cute little sister, too… Four—*four* girls! This life's way too enviable!"
"You've got it all wrong, Zenitsu-kun…"
Tanjiro, grabbed by the collar, struggled to explain. "Hikari-san and Bulma-san are my seniors. They're not Corps members, but they're insanely strong!"
"No way, they look so young…"
"It's true!"
Ignoring Tanjiro and Zenitsu's bickering, in the original storyline, it would've taken them a full day to reach the next demon's location.
But with the car, Hikari's group arrived near the House of Demons in just three hours.
And that was with Hikari holding back on speed due to rough roads.
"Hikari-san, my Kasugai Crow says the demon's in that house."
Tanjiro picked up his Nichirin Blade. "Could you and Bulma-san watch Nezuko for me? Zenitsu and I will check it out."
"…You've got ten minutes."
Hikari stretched, snapping out of her "ki" training. "I'll head in after ten minutes. If you haven't dealt with the demon by then, it's mine. As for Nezuko, don't worry—my shadow clone will stay here to look after her."
"Got it."
Tanjiro dragged a very reluctant Zenitsu off.
Only then did Hikari walk to the back of the RV and knock on the door.
"How's it going, Bulma?"
"…The sunlight in this world has some unique components, possibly a few unknown rays. I'm analyzing their wavelengths and frequencies. Later, I'll need to scan Tanjiro and Zenitsu's Nichirin Blades to see which components they absorb most, so we can pinpoint what demons are truly afraid of."
Bulma glanced back, explaining while tinkering with her equipment.
"Oh…"
Hikari glanced at the patterns on the device, avoiding any random comments that might throw Bulma off. "Tanjiro and the others are off hunting the demon. Hand me those laser swords and the protective suit you made. I'll test their power for you."
"Eh, but what about me?" Bulma said, a bit flustered. "What if those 'demons' show up while you're gone…?"
"Demons can't move freely in daylight, and my shadow clone's up front. She's got half my strength and will keep you and Nezuko safe."
Hikari had previously tried using her Kage Bunshin to activate Susanoo, but it didn't work.
—In the original story, Uchiha Madara could have 25 clones activate Susanoo simultaneously thanks to Edo Tensei's infinite chakra and Hashirama's Mokuton clones. Hikari met neither condition, so it was no surprise she couldn't pull it off.
No big deal, though.
Even at half strength and without Susanoo, Hikari's shadow clone was among the top-tier fighters in the *Demon Slayer* world. Unless the entire Twelve Kizuki showed up, there was virtually no chance of anything breaking through to harm Bulma or Nezuko—and that scenario was basically impossible.
After a quick rundown, Hikari suited up, stepped out of the car, and headed toward the House of Demons.
