''How was that?'' Catarina's voice pulled her from her thoughts. ''Didn't look like it went too well considering how many times you sighed. Was Lover boy asking you to elope with him?''
Genevieve could not help but roll her eyes at that.
''Let's just carry on with the check up, can we, Catarina?''
Catarina seemed to sense her mood had dipped, so she straightened in her seat. "Alright, what are the symptoms?"
Five minutes and several questions later, Genevieve rose from her chair, her gaze fixed on the book Catarina was scribbling in.
"I'll bring your prescriptions over to the house later."
Genevieve frowned.
"We can just take them with us, can't we?"
Catarina lifted her head. "Of course, but aren't we friends? You create more opportunities for me to get closer to Adrian, and in return, I keep your call, and anything else you might want to do in this office, a secret."
