Keita had woken up earlier than usual. His head was full of memories from the past few days, but he hadn't even fully gotten out of bed yet when his bedroom door flew open.
"Gooood morning, little bro!"
Ako burst in like a tornado, in a nightshirt that barely reached her thighs. Riko was right behind her, holding two mugs of tea.
"Brought you breakfast in bed!" said Riko with a wide smile.
Keita sat there, dazed, still groggy from sleep.
"What's up with you two? Since when are you this... nice?"
"Since you vanished for two nights," Ako replied, plopping down on his bed without a care.
"Maybe we missed you, huh?"
Then, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek — but very close to the corner of his mouth.
"Wh—hey!!" he shouted, blushing.
"What are you doing?!"
"Kisses for our favorite little brother," said Riko, who followed with another kiss — this time on his forehead.
"Or... don't you like it?"
Ako tugged at his sleeve.
"Hey, if there's someone else, just tell us. So we know if we should stop spoiling you."
Keita turned completely red.
"There's no one! Nothing happened! Nobody!"
But Yuzuki's scent still betrayed him.
On the other side of the city, Yuzuki was in the kitchen, making coffee. She was dressed casually, in a loose sweater draped over her shoulders. But her eyes were distant. She could still feel Keita. Still dream of what had happened.
"Morning, onee-chan."
Miyu walked in, yawning, and sat at the table.
"Did you have sweet dreams?"
Yuzuki flinched.
"What? No... I'm just tired."
Miyu looked at her with curious eyes.
"You're kinda red in the cheeks. And..."
She got closer and tugged down the collar of Yuzuki's sweater.
"You've got a tiny mark right here..."
She touched her neck with a finger.
"Looks like... someone kissed you a little too passionately."
Yuzuki immediately covered it and turned away.
"You've got too much imagination, Miyu."
"Or maybe... someone left you a mark so everyone knows you're taken?"
Miyu giggled, came close, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"That's for being adorable when you're embarrassed, onee-chan!"
Yuzuki sighed. Something told her: there was no way she could keep this a secret for long.
