"Honey." Jen said, pulling Beth into a bear hug as she stood by the entrance, Ray coming up behind her.
"Oh, look what the cat dragged in." Raymond teased, a genuine smile gracing his lips.
"You made it. I was so worried." Jen said, patting down her daughter's hair.
"Oh, that'so true." Ray chipped.
"Oh really? I thought you said you weren't worried?" Beth teased her Mom as they separated.
"Ha, she was so worried she did all of your chores." Ray said, coming up to hug his daughter. "Welcome home." He said.
"Thanks , Pops." She replied, patting him lightly on his back.
"Good. Now come sit. Bet you've got a lot to say because you smell so much like them."
"Exactly! I couldn't get the faintest whiff of her own scent, just theirs." Jen said, worry etched on her face.
"Mom, relax. Please. I swear it's not a big deal. I spent sometime with them, so smelling like them shouldn't be weird." Beth explained, shrugging her shoulders.
