Sensing Huo Yuhao's worry, Xue Di spoke up from within his spiritual sea.
"Yuhao, do you need me to step in?"
Hearing her voice, Huo Yuhao felt touched, but still asked with concern.
"Are you alright, Xue Di? Aren't you only at one-third of your peak strength right now?"
Xue Di nodded.
"That's right. Which is why I'll need your help, Yuhao. If I can borrow a portion of your Life Origin Power from your Life Sun, I'll be able to temporarily return to my peak strength. Don't worry, I'm just borrowing it. Once it's over, your origin power will naturally return."
After unlocking the first seal, Huo Yuhao was indeed capable of drawing from the Life Sun's most essential, irreplaceable origin power.
Without hesitation, he activated all the origin power he could currently control and channeled it toward Xue Di.
As that overwhelming surge of life energy flowed toward her, Xue Di was visibly shocked.
"This…"
"Go, Xue Di. Don't push yourself—I trust you."
Xue Di's expression grew complicated. Was this human really not afraid that she'd run off with such a rare and precious source of power? His genuine sincerity completely solidified her decision to place her life in Huo Yuhao's hands.
Within the spiritual sea, Xue Di began to circulate the life energy. Her aura soared higher and higher. As it did, subtle tremors spread across the spiritual world.
"Xue Di, I'll find a place to let you out. The laws of this world can't fully contain a top-tier powerhouse like you."
Making up an excuse to Xuan Ziwen, Huo Yuhao left the control room and found a secluded corner. There, he opened a path and released Xue Di into the real world.
Hovering mid-air before him was Xue Di, her aura concealed but clearly returned to its peak. Huo Yuhao couldn't help but hold his breath.
A fairy-like face, a tall and graceful figure, and a flowing white dress seemingly spun from ice and snow—she was the undisputed queen of winter and frost.
"Yuhao, how do you want me to deal with those Body Sect soul masters?"
Xue Di's cold voice snapped Huo Yuhao out of his daze.
His eyes gleamed with chilling light.
"If you can kill them, then kill them."
Xue Di nodded with approval. She liked this kind of human—free of naive mercy. And the fury she had built up after being sealed in that so-called God-bestowal Platform had not yet been vented.
"Good. Then I'll go. Eventually, you'll have to learn my techniques—watch closely."
Huo Yuhao nodded. Xue Di vanished on the spot, and a terrifying aura of a top-tier soul beast erupted in the distance. He immediately turned and sprinted back toward the control room.
Within Mingde Hall, Jing Hongchen was rapidly losing ground in his battle against Du Busi.
Du Busi's expression was grim. So much time had passed, why hadn't the operative sent to retrieve the Snow Empress embryo reported back yet? Did something go wrong?
'No. I can't afford to drag this out any longer.'
His right arm suddenly swelled, becoming massive. Without mercy, he swung a lightning-fast slap at the retreating Jing Hongchen.
This was Du Busi's strongest offensive move, unleashing part of his Martial Soul True Body to overwhelm the opponent with brute force.
Sensing the colossal palm crashing toward him like Buddha's wrathful strike, Jing Hongchen's expression twisted. He had no way to dodge it.
The palm struck him instantly. Multiple layers of soul tool shields activated—then shattered—again and again until the final layer barely absorbed the brunt of the attack. Still, the shockwave hurled him backward.
The explosive boom of the impact echoed like thunder, even injuring and sending flying many of the soul engineers stationed behind him.
"Execute Plan Two. Go all out!"
With Du Busi's command, the black-cloaked members of the Body Sect unleashed their Martial Soul True Bodies and charged like madmen. A few slipped off through the chaos, heading for the location of the Snow Empress embryo.
Struggling to regain his footing, Jing Hongchen's heart sank at the scene. If these people were going all in, then Mingde Hall was doomed—and likely, so was he. Where the hell was the reinforcement?
Gritting his teeth, he rummaged through his storage-type soul tool for a few ninth-grade fixed-installation soul bombs.
'If I'm going down, you're all coming with me!'
Just as the situation hit its tipping point, a bone-chilling aura burst forth within Mingde Hall. In that moment, time itself seemed to freeze. As Jing Hongchen tried to stand, he realized his limbs were stiff. A vast whiteness had overtaken his vision.
He squinted.
'What's going on… is it snowing inside Mingde Hall?'
What began as light snow quickly escalated. As a fearsome aura of a seventy-thousand-year soul beast swept through the hall, snowflakes danced wildly, turning the place into a forbidden land.
At that moment, anyone beneath the Soul Sage level was either frozen solid by the cold or knocked unconscious by the pressure.
Feeling that overwhelming beastly might, Jing Hongchen's expression turned utterly incredulous.
'A seventy-thousand-year-level soul beast? How the hell did one end up here in Mingde Hall!?'
He quickly realized something.
'The God-bestowal Platform… that embryo… damn it, what exactly did I bring back!?'
Meanwhile, inside the blizzard domain of the [Emperor's Frozen Sky, Snow Dance Radiant Sun], Du Busi grimaced in pain as razor-sharp snowflakes cut across his skin.
'Where the hell did this level of soul beast come from!?'
He tried to scan the condition of his sect's Soul Sages and Soul Douluos, but the blizzard blocked even his spiritual sense. His face turned pitch dark. That domain's power… those disciples were likely already—
As the snowstorm cleared, countless black-robed bodies lay dead or gravely wounded. Between Mingde Hall and the decimated Body Sect forces floated a lone white figure like a queen descending upon the mortal realm.
"Xue Di… I never expected that ten-thousand-year soul beast embryo to be you."
Du Busi's voice was grim. He wasn't stupid—who didn't know of the Snow Empress and her infamous Emperor's Palm, Emperor's Sword, and Emperor's Frozen Sky?
That Grade-9 soul engineer had captured a hundred-thousand-year beast in the Extreme North—clearly, it had been her.
Xue Di didn't even respond. In a flash, she was in front of Du Busi, her small jade-like hand slapping toward him.
His expression changed drastically. He dared not underestimate that seemingly gentle palm. In his Martial Soul True Body form, his larger body had no chance to dodge. He could only throw out a palm of his own in defense.
But how could the might of the Emperor's Palm be resisted with just that?
With a muffled groan, Du Busi was sent flying, smashing into the far wall of Mingde Hall several kilometers away.
