As Martin Riley stepped through the front door, his phone rang. It was Crystal Foster.
Standing at the entrance, the soft lighting made Crystal appear even more gentle and kind.
A warmth spread through Martin's chest as he looked at her, smiling warmly.
"Everyone's been waiting for you," Crystal said, waving him over. As he approached, she added with a smile, "Otto is especially happy today. Make sure to praise him a lot."
Martin nodded, and they both entered the house. Otto was chatting with Robert Foster, his little face flushed with excitement from having fun.
"Daddy!"
Otto spotted Martin and dashed over excitedly.
Martin's smile was gentle as he ruffled Otto's hair. "I saw your results. They're great, but don't get too proud. Keep working hard next time."
"Okay!" Otto nodded earnestly. "Don't worry, Daddy. I'll try even harder."
