Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Flying and Magic Control

Transfiguration and spells are the foundation and basis of duels.

Apart from the black magic, Transfiguration is almost the most powerful combat skill, and it is also the specialty of the strongest white wizard Dumbledore.

Even if Damon can only choose one path to study, he will only choose Transfiguration.

Professor McGonagall assigned Damon extra Transfiguration homework, and he also had to write a paper, which was longer than the one he assigned to other little wizards, a full 4 inches - Professor McGonagall was going to let him practice turning animals into still life, so she needed Damon to write a theoretical paper in advance to ensure that he had some understanding.

"Isn't this what we have to learn in the second-year Transfiguration class? I skipped a year, I really don't know if Professor McGonagall looks down on me or thinks highly of me."

Damon smiled. At present, he really hasn't mastered much in Transfiguration, but with the expert-level Transfiguration talent, I believe he will be able to complete all seven years of Transfiguration soon.

"I don't know how long it will take~"

Damon felt happy just thinking about it. He had never enjoyed learning so much before - he had talent, interest, and background, who wouldn't love to learn?

After saying goodbye to Professor McGonagall, Damon went to the library first and brought back the books he needed for his paper assignment to the common room.

At this time, Harry and Ron were waving at the matches restlessly.

On the one hand, the success they achieved in the Transfiguration class made them excited, and they couldn't help but want to maintain this excellence.

On the other hand, their hearts were moved by the flying class that was about to start in the afternoon. Listening to other students constantly discussing their flying deeds, the two of them were so itchy in their hearts.

Damon couldn't help shaking his head when he saw them like this:

"Remember the three points I mentioned? There's no point in practicing like this - the degree of transformation of this matchstick is not even as good as when you were in class."

The two of them felt a little ashamed when they heard this. Due to the incident that just happened in the morning, Ron didn't even dare to say anything. Harry said embarrassedly:

"Sorry, Damon, but we are really looking forward to flying class."

If first-year wizards were not allowed to bring flying brooms, they would have practiced somewhere by now.

"It's okay, I just saw it and reminded you."

Damon ignored them. While there was still some time before the flying class started at 3:30 in the afternoon, he wanted to quickly complete the paper assignments assigned by Flitwick and Professor McGonagall - especially Professor McGonagall's, which was six feet long in total. Even he would probably spend several hours on it.

Seeing that Damon had four professional books piled on his left and his right hand had already cooperated with his left hand to flatten the paper, Harry and Ron's expressions became more and more strange.

"Sometimes I really think..." Ron finally couldn't help it, "Damon and Hermione are the same kind of people."

"No, of course they are different - I mean, although Hermione is also very good, but haven't you noticed that Damon never forces us to do anything, even if he performs better than Hermione."

"Cool, man, you are very brave to say it - but I agree with you."

Ron patted Harry's shoulder, and the two of them subconsciously looked in the direction of Hermione - even Hermione, who was nervously reviewing Quidditch theory at this time, while - eavesdropping on the discussions of the people around them.

Harry could not help but pray silently in his heart - hoping that Hermione had not heard what she had just said.

Before half past three, Damon finally finished Professor McGonagall's six-foot paper.

When he actually started writing, he found that it was not that difficult - because of his expert-level talent in Transfiguration, he read textbooks very quickly and memorized them very easily. He could write down many materials on the paper after reading them once, which greatly accelerated his speed of completing the homework.

After all, he was a child who grew up in China. When he was in high school, he had to write a whole ink pen in a day. This amount of homework was really nothing.

Today's weather was unprecedentedly good. When Damon walked from the tower to the field, the breeze just happened to blow on his face, comfortable but not hot. The neatly trimmed lawn was blown by the breeze, which made him feel very happy.

The teacher of the flying class was Madam Hooch. She had short gray hair and two yellow eyes, like the eyes of an eagle.

"Okay, what are you all waiting for?" she said sharply, "Everyone stand next to a flying broom, quickly, hurry up."

"Stretch out your right hand and place it on the top of the broom handle," Madam Hooch shouted in front, "and say: 'Get up!'"

Damon looked at the broom in front of his heels and said calmly: "Get up."

  "Swish!"

The broom immediately jumped into his hand, and at the same time, a new line of text appeared in front of Damon's eyes.

  [Quidditch - LV1 (Beginner)] 36/100

[Learners who have just started to learn Quidditch, you can master the most basic flying skills, can keep balance on the flying broom and fly simply on the field, you have a certain understanding and adaptability to the rules of Quidditch]

Damon raised his eyebrows, a little surprised.

Originally, he didn't have any special expectations for flying, but when he touched the flying broom, Quidditch skills popped out?

Damon opened the system and looked at the magic points. After five days of breathing, more than 10,000 points were added to his "account".

From level 1 to level 4, the total is only 11,100 points, just max it out.

  [Quidditch - LV2 (Apprentice)] 1/1000

[Basic flying skills are no longer a problem for you. Your understanding of Quidditch tactics has improved, and you can cooperate with the team and provide support to your teammates. ]

  [Quidditch - LV3 (Advanced)] 1/10000

[You can master some advanced Quidditch flying skills (fast turns, reverse flight, emergency stops), and can master complex movements in the air. Your ability to handle balls has greatly improved. ]

  [Quidditch - LV4 (Expert)] 1/1000000

[You can perfectly master most flying skills, can handle fierce Quidditch games with ease, and can still maintain decision-making ability under high-pressure situations.]

"Hmm?" Damon suddenly felt something different.

  Quidditch didn't matter, but when

Damon sat on the flying broom, he found that the excessively abundant magic power in his body seemed to become a little docile at this moment. This change alone has greatly exceeded the sum of his previous hard training in the Room of Requirement.

Adding Quidditch points, his ability to control magic has become stronger?

Madam Hooch, who was walking around the team correcting students' improper movements, saw that Damon had sat steadily on the broom, and her face showed surprise. She ignored it directly - it was not the time for the little wizard to take off, but since Damon had already done it, she naturally wouldn't say anything.
