He glanced at Phonx, the great firebird smoldering from its clash with Noir Ultima. With soft sorrow in his eyes, he extended a hand.
"Go back, Phonx… to where you belong."
The phoenix looked at him majestic, wise and let out a final, echoing cry that shimmered through the air like sunlight through stained glass. Then, it dissolved into radiant embers, vanishing into the sky.
Crow, now fused with Noir, his armor rippling with living shadow, smirked from across the field. His wings flared wide, and the jagged, spiked helmet glinted like obsidian.
"Touching… Are you done playing dress-up, Solarius?"
Solarius clenched his fists, golden veins pulsing. "No more words. I swore to protect—even if it means burning out."
Below, the others braced themselves as the clash of titans began anew.
