The SUV door swung open.
A huge guy with a beard and scary arms reached in, unbuckled Kyan like he was a child, and dragged him out gently.
"Welcome home, pretty boy," the man said with a crooked grin.
Kyan struggled, muffled sounds coming from behind the tape across his mouth.
His wrists were still cuffed, and he could barely keep up with the man's steps as they walked through the massive gates of a mansion that looked like it came straight out of a movie.
"Take him upstairs," the man called out to a few people in uniform.
"Yes, sir," one of them said, already reaching for Kyan's arm.
Kyan blinked hard. Wait, what?
What the hell was this place? Who were these people?
He was gently pulled inside, his socks brushing over the cold floor as they led him past chandeliers, glass railings, and wide staircases.
Everything looked rich. He felt like a kidnapped prince in a fancy prison.
They didn't say a word to him. Just nodded at each other and kept moving.
