Fairy Tail World.
Kingdom of Fiore, Magnolia Town.
Home to the most famous wizard guild in the land—Fairy Tail.
The moment Su Mo stepped out of the Mist Dimension; he didn't even need to open his eyes. Just hearing the familiar, chaotic, and cheerful racket around him was enough to know—he was back inside the Fairy Tail Guild.
"Levy, are you free tomorrow? I found this amazing new restaurant!"
"Levy, got any plans tomorrow? There's a new clothing shop with some cute outfits…"
Two voices rang out in his ears—clearly from a pair of overzealous fanboys.
"Oi, Jet! I clearly asked Levy out first!"
"Shut up! I was the first to ask, and besides, Levy hasn't agreed to go with you!"
"Don't you know what first come, first served means? And let's be real—Levy-chan clearly prefers good food over clothes."
"Hah! Everyone knows girls love clothes more. That's just common sense!"
Meanwhile, the main character in question, Levy, hadn't even gotten a word in. These two idiots had already started bickering like an old married couple.
Jet and Droy, two Fairy Tail wizards, were locked in a glare-off, each trying to outdo the other and win Levy's attention.
"My pick's a gourmet BBQ spot. Their grilling is top-tier! Levy's too skinny these days—she needs to eat more!"
"No way! Levy-chan's wardrobe is practically outdated. She needs a fashion refresh!"
Each of them hyped up their own plan while trashing the other's, clearly hoping to impress.
What they didn't notice, however…
Was the expression on Levy's face. What had started as slight awkwardness had now darkened into outright irritation.
It was one thing to be invited out—and rejecting that was easy. But the nonsense they were spouting?
One of them was openly critiquing her body, saying she needed to eat more meat.
The other had the audacity to call her clothes outdated, implying his sense of style was superior.
Seriously…
If these two morons weren't her teammates, Levy wouldn't even bother with them.
What the hell kind of talk was that?
Any girl hearing such blunt and patronizing comments about her body or clothes would instantly shut down any possibility of romance.
Not that there was ever any real possibility to begin with. But still, they somehow managed to dig their own graves even deeper.
Levy's mood was in the gutter now.
"Enough!"
She finally snapped, face dark as thunder.
"I'm not going with either of you. I already have plans tomorrow."
A clean, firm rejection.
In truth, Levy had already told both Jet and Droy that she had zero romantic interest in them.
She wasn't the type to lead people on, nor did she want them wasting their time chasing after her, so she'd made herself perfectly clear.
She only saw them as guildmates. Nothing more.
But clearly, they hadn't been listening.
Maybe they believed in the age-old simp gospel: No pain, no gain. Grind hard enough, and someday she'll say yes.
No matter how many times they were rejected, they kept coming back, convinced their persistence would win her over.
Levy was sick of it. But what else could she say?
And yet, hearing her latest declaration…
The two were stunned speechless.
"Levy-chan… has plans?"
"Who the hell dares to take our team's girl on a date?!"
"This is outrageous! They're totally ignoring us!"
"Who is it?! We've gotta teach that guy a lesson!"
Their faces hardened with mock fury, clearly trying to look intimidating.
Levy stared at the two of them, half annoyed, half amused.
She raised a hand and pointed toward the bar—where a certain man was quietly sipping his drink.
"Su Mo and I already made plans. He's going to tutor me in Letter Magic tomorrow."
She raised an eyebrow, voice laced with subtle mischief.
"What's the plan? You two wanna challenge Su Mo now?"
Though Levy was known for being gentle, she definitely had a playful dark streak.
And sure enough…
The moment she said his name, both Jet and Doyle slowly turned to look at Su Mo.
Then—
Gulp.
They swallowed in unison, suddenly pale.
"…Did she say Su Mo? The Su Mo? The Guild Tyrant?"
"If we pick a fight with him… won't we, like, die?"
Panic instantly replaced their earlier bravado.
To be fair, they hadn't meant their earlier threats seriously. As Fairy Tail wizards, they weren't thugs. They were just… posturing a bit. Trying to act tough.
Of course, they didn't realize how cringe and low-tier that kind of act came off—especially to someone like Levy, a quiet book-loving girl.
It was already a bad look, but now that they knew the guy was Su Mo?
Even the fake bravado crumbled.
In terms of pure strength and fear factor within the guild, Su Mo ranked above even Erza and Laxus. He was the undisputed tyrant.
Okay, maybe "getting killed" was an exaggeration. In truth, Su Mo was a decent guy—reliable, easy to get along with, and a solid teammate.
Both Jet and Droy admired him. In fact, they were pretty sure he was destined to become the next Guild Master someday.
But going up against him?
Not a chance.
They'd rather take a full day's scolding from Erza than ever cross that monster.
Su Mo as an ally? An absolute fortress.
Su Mo as an enemy?
Well... let's just say, the title "Guild Tyrant" wasn't just for show.
