Chapter 51 - Chapter 51

Ginny didn't wake up, She was out cold scaring the shit out of them, Remus hand her over to Tony telling him to take her first while they wait for him.

Tony didn't argue as he hold her in his arms while hand the sword over to Sirius who took it with shaky hands, After all, It is the legendary sword he's holding and it is used to sly that big fossils.

Immediately, Tony walks out of the chamber with the girl in his arms.

Remus, Sirius and Johnny follow behind him, Before they leave, Johnny grab the dairy.

——

Tony burst out of the gaping sinkhole like a cannonball, hovering midair, Ginny Weasley held protectively in his arms. His faceplate lifted, revealing a tight expression of concern as he landed smoothly just outside the ruined entrance to the Chamber of Secrets.

Waiting for him were Amelia Bones, Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Snape, and several other staff members—all wide-eyed and stunned at the sight of him cradling a pale, unmoving girl.

Amelia didn't waste a second. Her lips were tight, she strode forward and took Ginny from Tony's arms. Without a word, she passed the girl to Madam Pomfrey, who was already running forward with her medical bag in tow.

"There's a dead snake down there," he said bluntly. "Massive"

Gasps rang through the group.

McGonagall's voice trembled ever so slightly. "A basilisk?" So, they were right?

Tony gave a tired nod. "Yup, Big, nasty thing. If that's what's been attacking students, it's down now. Permanently."

Snape paled visibly. Even Dumbledore's usually calm expression tightened.

"You killed it?" Professor McGonagall asked, voice faint with disbelief. It sounds so impossible!

Before anyone could say more, Tony turn away. "Now excuse me. My guys are still down there."

——

Sirius stood at the entrance, holding the sword and waits for Tony to come down and take them.

"You know," he muttered, "I think I just developed a lifelong phobia of snakes."

The heard the familiar whirr of thrusters, all three turned just as Tony descended, landing with a low thump.

"Mission complete, Snake Slayer," Sirius grinned, clapping him on the back.

Tony rolled his neck. "Come on, let's get out of this giant plumbing disaster."

The three men gathered close, and Tony held out his arms. "No complaints. One flight up, express service."

Sirius raised an eyebrow. "Do we tip the Iron Chauffeur?"

"Only if you want me to drop you." Tony takes the sword from Sirius in order for him to hold onto him.

With a smirk, Tony activated his boosters and lifted all three men out of the chamber in one go.

Remus hold onto him with his dear life.

——

As they emerged, the staff and Amelia were still gathered near the entrance.

McGonagall was gone—likely escorting Ginny and Pomfrey to the Hospital Wing. The rest stood in tense silence as the group of four returned from the depths of Hogwarts, worn but victorious.

Dumbledore, for once, looked shaken. "The basilisk... it's truly gone?"

Tony hands down, Remus, Sirius and Johnny let's go of him relief to be back from that horror place.

"Yeah. Not with lasers though." Tony lifted the Sword of Gryffindor, still slick with dark red blood, and let it rest on his shoulder. "Had a little help from this magical butterknife and a flaming bird."

Remus answered this time, stepping forward. "Dead. Riddle's diary is destroyed as well. That was the source of the attacks. It had her—Ginny—under its influence

Another shiver passed through the staff. They cannot imagine the horror what girl went through.

Johnny added while looking pale, "We'll need to run dark magic traces on the school. That diary wasn't just enchanted. It was a full-blown Horcrux-level artifact."

"Horcrux?" Dumbledore's eyes flickered, but he said nothing.

Tony looked between them all. "Yeah, we've got a lot to discuss. Starting with who let that thing in the school in the first place. But first... someone get me a drink and maybe a tetanus shot. I stabbed a snake with a hat sword. That's gotta come with some magical diseases."

Sirius laughed. "You're so dramatic."

"And you're not?" Tony fired back.

Remus shook his head fondly. "Let's debrief somewhere less... haunted." Then he points at Tony. "You need to step out of Armour too... We need to clean all of that blood... It could be poisonous"

"Fair enough, but where is my damn drink? I need It"

As they began making their way out of the ruined bathroom, Dumbledore turned slightly toward them, his hands folded behind his back. "If I may… I would like to examine the diary myself, briefly."

Remus glance at Amelia.

She didn't hesitate. "You can have a look, Albus. But it remains Ministry evidence. I'll be taking it back with me once you're done."

Tony glanced over at Johnny. "Okay, wait—backtrack a bit. What is a Horcrux? I saw you pale like a Victorian heroine when you said that."

Johnny hesitated, glancing at Dumbledore, whose body had noticeably tensed at the mention. The change didn't go unnoticed by Tony. His sharp, analytical mind registered everything—the narrowed eyes, the stiffened spine, the forced calm.

Johnny cleared his throat as they walked down the corridor. "A Horcrux is one of the darkest pieces of magic known. It's created when a wizard splits their soul… by committing murder. That split part is then embedded into an object, anchoring the soul to the world. As long as the Horcrux exists… the person can't die."

Tony blinked. "So you're telling me that diary had a piece of a guy's soul in it?"

"Yes," Remus said quietly. "And that piece was controlling miss Weasley."

Tony let out a low whistle. "That's one way to ruin a childhood diary."

Sirius didn't laugh. His jaw was set tight, his brows furrowed as they turned another corridor. "I might have something in my family house," he said darkly. "Old books. Artifacts. My family collected dark objects like candy… wouldn't be surprised if one of them wrote about this kind of thing. If it helps protect Harry, I'll go back."

Remus placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "You won't be alone."

Sirius gave him a small nod of thanks.

By the time they reached the Headmaster's office, the tension had thickened. Dumbledore said the password—"Lemon candy"—and the stone gargoyle moved aside to reveal the staircase.

Tony found it ridiculous how this guy uses sweets for passwords while others were used to it expect Johnny who was baffled like Tony.

As they stepped into the circular office, Amelia was already taking charge. "We'll need to inform Mr. and Mrs. Weasley immediately. This wasn't a prank or a mistake—it was dark magic, full possession. They need to be here."

Dumbledore nodded slowly. "I will send the message myself. They deserve to know everything."

Tony removes the armour carefully not to touch the blood, he already hand the sword to Johnny who took it while he removes the armour. Once removed, he looks over at Dumbledore. "You knew about the diary, didn't you? Sorry I mean you know what Horcrux means?"

The silence in the room grew heavy.

Dumbledore folded his hands. "I had suspicions. But I did not have confirmation until now...his secret to immortal..."

Remus looked furious. "That's not good enough, Albus. A child nearly died... No, no, You fucking damn well knew who Voldemort was! You... You say you had suspicious about Horcrux... You..." He is so pissed off right now.

"And it could have been Harry," Sirius added, his voice hard. "Again."

Tony watched Dumbledore quietly, then finally said, "Good thing we're here now."

Johnny put the dairy on the desk. "I'll place it in a sealed containment charm until the Ministry can analyze it further. And this time... I made it very strong... Even if the threat is gone... I won't make the mistake again"

Amelia nodded. "Take care of it, Johnny. I'll be returning to the Ministry... And when I do, I'll be requesting an inquiry."

Dumbledore inclined his head. "I understand."

Remus turn to look at Sirius. "We need to dig through that house of yours sooner rather than later."

Sirius sighed heavily, "Merlin help me, but you're right."
