Chapter 19 - Astral Travel Guide

Begin your meditation by finding a comfortable position, lying down or sitting with your back supported. Close your eyes softly and bring your attention to your breath.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose… and exhale gently through your mouth. Let your body begin to relax with each breath.

Starting at the top of your head, slowly scan down your body with your mind's eye. Notice any tension or tightness. Breathe into those areas, inviting them to soften and release.

Move your attention down to your forehead, your eyes, your cheeks. Let your face relax completely.

Feel your neck and shoulders letting go of any weight they carry. Breathe warmth into your chest, your belly.

Continue scanning down your arms, your hands, letting each muscle unwind.

Soften your back and spine. Feel your hips sinking into support.

Relax your thighs, knees, calves, all the way down to your feet and toes. Your whole body feels heavy and peaceful.

Now, imagine yourself as light as a feather, gently rising upward, just above your physical body. Feel yourself floating calmly and effortlessly.

Visualize a silver-blue thread gently connecting you to your body — a tether of safety and comfort. You can always return along this thread whenever you wish.

From this quiet, elevated place, observe the room around you. Notice the soft glow of light, the stillness.

Slowly, imagine drifting farther away, out through the ceiling, and into the vast, peaceful space beyond.

Look down and see your home, your town, or your natural surroundings from this serene vantage point.

Rest here a moment in calm observation, knowing you are safe and supported.

When you feel ready to return, follow the silver-blue thread back to your body.

Feel yourself descending slowly, reconnecting with your physical form.

Gently begin to move your fingers and toes, becoming aware of your breath again.

Stretch softly if you wish, and when you are ready, open your eyes.

Take a few moments to rest before rising, carrying with you the calm and lightness from this experience.

Remember, if you don't feel this experience fully the first few times, that's perfectly okay. Astral travel is a skill developed with patience and gentle practice. Each session brings you closer.
