Boom! Boom!
The Ultimate Mecha was blasted away at an astonishing speed. Its steel frame tore through the air, generating a fan-shaped gale that swept up dozens of Flaxan soldiers like dry leaves in a storm.
Screams filled the sky as many of the soldiers were sent flying, crashing to the ground with devastating injuries.
"Pretty sturdy." Russell raised an eyebrow in surprise—there was no sensation of metal breaking under his fist when he punched.
This Flaxan Ultimate Mecha was indeed impressive.
Had he not switched to the Soldier Boy template mid-flight on his way to the battlefield, that punch—if using the Immortal Hero or War Woman templates—would've at the very least ended in serious injury!
However, due to his poor flight ability, he'd failed to completely dodge the mecha's airborne assault.
Russell remembered clearly—during the third Flaxan invasion, this exact type of powerful armor had overpowered Mark, pinning him to the ground and beating him bloody.
It was only thanks to Uncle Nolan's arrival that Mark was saved.
"That's impossible! It's only been a few days in Earth time—how could you have grown so much stronger?!" the Flaxan general shouted, staggering to his feet. This wasn't the morale-boosting, clean victory over a "demon" he had envisioned.
"Why not? I call this—Power Type!"
BOOM!
A sonic boom erupted behind him. Glass windows on surrounding buildings shattered with a sharp crack as Russell's fist, wreathed in enough power to sink an aircraft carrier, hurtled straight at the towering mecha.
"Die, monster! You'll never defeat the Ultimate Mecha!"
The Flaxan general roared, enraged. The Ultimate Mecha also broke the sound barrier in an instant, launching itself forward. A colossal metal fist clashed with a human one mid-air.
BOOM——!!!
The shockwave exploded outward in a spherical blast. Within a hundred-meter radius, the asphalt road caved in and split apart like a plowed field.
A double-decker bus was caught in the blast, spiraling through the air before crashing into a nearby building's lobby.
Dozens of Flaxan soldiers were hurled hundreds of meters, some crashing straight into skyscraper windows.
One was a massive three-meter-tall steel mecha; the other, a mere flesh-and-blood human. Yet when their fists collided, it was the mecha that was knocked backward by the impact—a sight that left everyone stunned.
Eve and the others were in utter disbelief.
"What did you say just now, Robot? That mecha's energy is equivalent to a nuclear bomb?! You must've scanned it wrong!" Rex Splode choked out, completely dumbfounded.
"No, my scan was accurate," Robot replied, momentarily dazed. "It's just…"
Just that Infinity Man also possesses nuclear-level power…
That last part, he couldn't bring himself to say aloud—he was too shocked.
Robot wasn't a real robot, after all. He was actually a deformed human piloting from a tank, complete with emotions like surprise and awe.
"Russell?!" Mark hurriedly flew back, only to see Russell trading blows with the mecha and even sending it flying. His eyes widened in disbelief.
He had just experienced firsthand how overwhelming that mecha's power was.
The clash between steel and flesh lasted mere moments, yet they had exchanged dozens of strikes in the blink of an eye.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Each punch or kick sent out a ring-shaped shockwave. Cracks spread like spiderwebs across nearby skyscrapers; the ground shook as if a massive earthquake was erupting under Chicago.
Russell completely overpowered the Ultimate Mecha, driving it back relentlessly. He didn't even need to target the other Flaxan soldiers—the shockwaves alone were enough to rupture their organs and kill them where they stood.
"Save the civilians, Mark!" Russell shouted as he forced the mecha into retreat. Noticing Mark hovering in a daze, he barked out sharply.
Mark snapped out of it, immediately using his super speed to evacuate nearby citizens who hadn't yet escaped—freeing Russell to unleash his full power.
Eve and the others split their efforts between fighting off Flaxan soldiers and helping civilians escape from the terrifying battlefield.
"No! Your body density is all wrong—nothing about you adds up!"
The Ultimate Mecha's massive fist slammed into Russell's chest like a missile, sending him flying dozens of meters.
But a second later, Russell came charging back, fists swinging as though completely unscathed, and smashed the mecha right back.
"Of course it's wrong."
With the new template in place, Russell's speed might've dropped slightly, but every other aspect of him had undergone a qualitative leap.
After a series of devastating strikes—enough to sink a battleship—the mecha's structural limit finally reached its breaking point. Russell's double-fisted blow sent a shockwave blasting out in rings, slamming the Ultimate Mecha into the earth. The asphalt shattered in a hundred-meter radius, and fragments of stone hovered for a moment before raining down like a storm.
Russell's sharp eyes instantly spotted a deep dent in the mecha's chest.
"Right there!"
He dove, spinning mid-air. His right leg came down like a battle axe. The Ultimate Mecha crossed its arms to block—
BOOM!
The collision between his knee and the mecha's arms sent a white shockwave bursting out. The mecha's legs were driven into the ground up to the knees.
Russell, lifted by the recoil, floated briefly, then twisted in the air and lashed out with a vicious spinning kick. The mecha couldn't dodge in time—its head took the full blow.
The white faceplate dented on impact, spiderweb-like cracks spreading across its obsidian visor.
Another shockwave burst from the impact point, blowing away all debris within a hundred-meter radius, leaving behind a perfectly circular clearing.
The mecha skidded back along the asphalt, carving two thirty-meter-long trenches before finally coming to a stop.
"Another weak point. Guess your so-called 'Ultimate Mecha' isn't quite as durable as you thought!"
A cold voice echoed from above. The Flaxan general looked up in alarm.
Russell gave him no room to breathe, charging in with another punch. His gaze was sharp as a blade, so intense it seemed to slice through the air itself, making the general's heart seize with dread.
"No! The faceplate!"
The general realized that, compared to the dent in the chest armor, the cracked visor was a far more dangerous vulnerability.
Just imagining that the armor might break, exposing his flesh to this terrifying creature, filled him with cold terror.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Russell's punches came down like a torrential storm, slamming into the faceplate over and over.
Even though the Ultimate Mecha raised its arms in defense, it was no use.
Its thick metal arms were blown aside; Russell's devastating fists barreled through, smashing the mecha's head sideways.
The faceplate didn't shatter—but more cracks began to form.
"One more punch and your tin can's done for!"
Russell's eyes gleamed dangerously as he raised his fist. The air compressed with such force that it rippled visibly, like boiling water.
He struck.
BOOM!
The shockwave exploded outward, instantly evacuating the air within a kilometer radius, creating a brief vacuum.
The ground collapsed like a crumbling biscuit, cracks spreading like lightning bolts. The entire street sank three meters, forming a massive fan-shaped crater over a hundred meters long.
The Ultimate Mecha was blasted back, landing at the far end of the crater—right in front of the portal it had stepped through to invade Earth.
That one punch had literally sent it back to where it came from.
