Chapter 349 - The Terrifying Power of Hei Tong and Di

Xiao Feng's gaze fixed coldly upon Di and Hei Tong as they prepared to decide the outcome of the impending battle. The sting of their disdain rankled deeply within him—he loathed being looked down upon. Clutching the longsword forged from his dark supernatural energy, he strode deliberately to stand before the two.

His voice was icy. "Do you think this is some marketplace where you can pick and choose? Come at me together, and I'll deal with you both at once. Hmph, two insolent brats daring to be so arrogant—if I could handle your fathers, then dealing with you two punks will be no different."

Anger flared instantly in both Di and Hei Tong. Without hesitation, Di lunged forward, throwing a punch. Clearly, his youthful fury overpowered his restraint.

But to Xiao Feng, Di's fist moved in slow motion. Just as the blow neared Xiao Feng's cheek, Xiao Feng vanished—though not truly disappearing, but bending so swiftly that it seemed he melted from sight.

A sharp pain exploded in Di's abdomen as Xiao Feng's counterattack sent him flying through the air.

Di, being young and slender, was as light as a feather to Xiao Feng, who could feel the immense force behind his strike—enough to shatter a concrete pillar, more than sufficient to subdue this child.

Hera watched from the side as Xiao Feng effortlessly hurled Di away. Instead of worry, a faint smile played on her lips—whether she smiled at Xiao Feng or at Di, only she knew.

Without pause, Xiao Feng turned and launched a swift kick at Hei Tong.

Yet Hei Tong proved craftier than Xiao Feng anticipated. Though Hei Tong had once slipped away from him, Xiao Feng hadn't fully grasped his cunning. Now, he truly felt Hei Tong's exceptional prowess.

As Xiao Feng's kick shot forth, Hei Tong seemed to anticipate the attack, swiftly retreating. Suddenly, his hands transformed into a mass of writhing tentacles that snaked around Xiao Feng's right leg.

With those tentacle-like limbs, Hei Tong seized Xiao Feng and violently spun him through the air.

Caught off guard, Xiao Feng was tossed around helplessly. Just as he prepared to use an electric strike to break free, Hei Tong abruptly released him, hurling him far away.

At first glance, Xiao Feng seemed unharmed. Yet at his landing spot, a colossal beast materialized suddenly, eerie and formidable.

Though not truly an A-rank demon beast, it was unquestionably above B-rank. What Xiao Feng saw was a massive creature resembling a porcupine—its back bristling with long, sharp spines, towering five or six meters tall, with razor-sharp claws. It resembled a demonic porcupine, though its head was more like a fierce hunting dog—or rather, an "arrow dog."

The arrow dog rose from the ground, emitting a low, ominous growl, mouth agape as if eager to swallow Xiao Feng whole.

Yet Xiao Feng, long accustomed to B- and A-rank demon beasts, felt no intimidation. Swiftly moving, his left hand grasped the bristly whiskers atop the beast's snout, yanking it downward until it crashed to the earth. With a fierce thrust, Xiao Feng reversed his longsword and stabbed it straight into the creature's skull.

A pitiful howl erupted as the black blade pierced the beast's braincase, shredding its gray matter like iron ripping through paper.

The arrow dog's consciousness faded, its massive body going limp.

Hei Tong's eyes sharpened at how effortlessly Xiao Feng dispatched a B-rank demon beast. "You bastard, I'll show you my true strength..." he snarled, slamming his hands into the earth.

"Come forth! For the Holy Sect, fight to the death!" His potent supernatural energy surged into the ground.

Xiao Feng, Qin Tian, Di, and Hera all froze, sensing the trembling earth beneath them.

Around the four of them, a vast circle emerged—formed by rising mounds of earth. Xiao Feng's eyes widened in astonishment as monstrous heads emerged from each mound—each beast different, all ranked above B.

A hint of deadly resolve crept onto Hei Tong's youthful face. "You dealt with one B-rank beast with ease. Let's see how you handle dozens of them!"

These newly summoned beasts were clearly stronger than the arrow dog. Among them were elemental-controlling monsters—one unleashed a blazing fireball from its jaws, roaring as it hurled the searing orb toward Xiao Feng.

Frowning, Xiao Feng sized up the massive fireball—over a meter in diameter. "Just right..." he murmured.

A surging torrent of water erupted around him, crashing into the fireball with a thunderous explosion. Steam billowed violently with a sizzling hiss.

Not only this beast, but the others rapidly closed in on Xiao Feng.

The sight of dozens of demon beasts converging was overwhelming and awe-inspiring.

For a moment, Xiao Feng felt a flicker of apprehension. Hei Tong could summon such a varied horde of B-rank demon beasts—what reservoir of power did this small man truly possess?

While Xiao Feng harbored concern, Qin Tian smiled arrogantly, as if possessed by a death god. Clad in iron claws, he dashed toward the nearest beast.

Xiao Feng bellowed, "Qin Tian, be careful!"

The demon beast's horns crackled with twin streams of electricity, glowing violet as the intense bolts shot toward Qin Tian.

Qin Tian's form blurred suddenly, vanishing from sight. The ground beneath where he stood was scorched, two deep blackened craters marking the spot.

When Qin Tian reappeared, it was inside the beast's body. In such brutal combat, Qin Tian no longer cared for the B-rank demon crystal embedded within. Piercing the creature's heart, he burst out through its flesh.

The beast let out a pained howl, collapsing to the ground and thrashing weakly before succumbing to death.

Qin Tian sprinted onward toward another monster.

Hei Tong stared in shock at this stranger—he hadn't anticipated Qin Tian's terrifying prowess. Xiao Feng's killing of one B-rank beast seemed sluggish in comparison. Taken aback, Hei Tong shouted to Di, "Di, what are you waiting for? Attack!"

Di finally recognized that Hei Tong's powerful demon beast forces meant little against these two enemies. They could slaughter the horde with ease, fueling Di's fury.

Simultaneously, Di formed two balls of radiant energy in his palms and fired them toward Xiao Feng and Qin Tian.

Sensing the energy orbs' approach, Xiao Feng's spiritual power surged explosively. Though the orbs' destructive power was not extraordinary, their blinding speed made them deadly.

Without his heightened senses, Xiao Feng might have missed them entirely. But his strength as a transcendent Level Eight supernatural allowed him to weave a vast psychic net, ensnaring both energy spheres effortlessly.

Meanwhile, the demon beasts charged toward Xiao Feng.

Such a breathtaking scene was unlike anything Xiao Feng or Qin Tian had witnessed before—Xiao Feng had rarely faced such a vast horde.

He grimly thought, "So many willing to die... Looks like we're in for a fierce battle."

Simultaneously, two slender black longswords appeared in Xiao Feng's hands—wrought from his dark supernatural energy, hard and razor-sharp. Though this power had little effect in the hands of Qisha, in Xiao Feng's grasp, it took on an entirely new might.

Yet his blades were not aimed at the monstrous beasts but at their master—Hei Tong, who stood half a head shorter.

Seeing Xiao Feng charging with twin swords, Hei Tong's brow furrowed deeply. "Xiao Feng, you clearly underestimate us... Di, attack!"
